  1. Gilbert shoots on Jarrett, and his failed basketball career. Gilbert is awesome here. Like Loss said, the Flair look really worked for Eddie.
  2. The usual goofy promo from Warrior, only this time he starts "bleeding" some sort of black liquid. Much cooler than the vomiting.
  3. I bet that's what Flair's actual voicemail sounds like.
  4. Here's the Warrior puking! One of the few bad angles that I, as a nine year old mark, knew was stupid. Honestly, I don't see the point in including both the original footage and this on the disc. The stuff before the puking wasn't so great that it needed to be seen twice, like Steamer hanging Rude was.
  5. I wish I knew was Cornette was thinking with this idea. He'd already said that his idea choice for the champion was Brad Armstrong, but he wasn't available. Why he felt he pretty much had to cut off Brian's balls from the start, I don 't know. Like Cox said, this makes Bob the top babyface, not Lee.
  6. Lots of great stuff here from all six. I think Kawada was the standout performer here, which was fitting with him picking up the win for his team. The stuff that mostly stuck with me was from Kawada, like taking that knee to the midsection from Jumbo and jumping back to his feet and leveling him with the elbow. Right before the finish, when Taue charges and Kawada levels him with the ganmengiri was another spot I liked, the timing was a bit off, but it still worked for me.
  7. This was much more brutal and stiff than I recalled. It's well known for Iizuka's facial injures, but considering the shots they dished out, someone was gonna get hurt. Credit to the kid for keeping going.
  8. This had some good stuff, although some of their ideas were questionable with the body part work being done, like Zenk's big boot when his leg had been worked over. But, that was counterbalanced with smart things like the powerslam counter, and the finish with Pillman outsmarting Zenk.
  9. I've got nothing new to add here. Savage's line about the title being his before it was Flair's was great.
  10. I can't say that this really did anything for me. It wasn't horrible or anything, but seemed rather unspectacular to me.
  11. Good promo from Rude, but, like Loss said, where is the buildup to War Games? With all these great promos, I'm bummed that the blowoff to Rude/Steamboat was the Iron Man Match, which was non title?
  12. Great line from Steamer that he doesn't want Rude's woman, he wants Rude's title.
  13. Segments like this are why Lawler is such an institution in Memphis.
  14. Embry saves Larry Arch from the beating of his life. I agree with what Kevin said about the Lawler/Gilbert segment needing air after this. Embry's promo is awesome as well, especially his line about how the area meant more to him than Texas did.
  15. It was an awesome segment, I legit jumped when Gilbert attacked Lawler. All things considered though, you can't say Lawler didn't have it coming.
  16. The Moondogs angle continues to bring the awesomeness. Richard Lee's drunken selling when he got popped by Marlin was almost as awesome. Why didn't Eddie Gilbert try to bring the Moondogs into ECW when he first started with them? If they were anything like they had been in Memphis, they'd have gotten over like a million bucks.
  17. Shango made this bearable with his goofy facial expression and body language. I liked Vince's skepticism, saying that it might have just been an unfortunate accident, as though Warrior ate tainted pork or something. And, Will, thanks for sparing us puking backstage.
  18. I gotta say, I was pretty relaxed while he was crushing that car.
  19. This is the same bit of randomness from the day before, only this is covered with awesome sauce! Santo and Casas steal the show, again, but the four FMW guys say screw it to trying to fit into the lucha libre box, and just work a typical FMW brawl, and the match freaking rules for it!
  20. This is certainly a weird lineup, the only thing missing was bumping GW and Mascaras for Takada and Anjoh. This has it's fun moments, thanks to Casas and Santo, but it just never seemed to really click for me.
  21. Mark was supposed to take corner bump and then stumble into the Diamond Cutter. But, he decided to take the bump and do a big belly flop, so DDP had to run and leap in order to do the 'Cutter.
  22. I second the Hokuto broken neck example. She's truly the toughest person on the face of the earth to suffer that injury and keep going.
  23. And the sequel, when they were in the airport and went to say hi to Billy Gunn who just happened to be travelling with Shamrock, and Shamrock was ready to kick both of their asses.

I like the scenario that Loss laid out, especially with the 'Bryan earns his title shot by doing the impossible' angle. And, AFAIK, Roman Reigns is still undefeated, except by DQ. So, it's the perfect setup to make him run the Shield gauntlet of Rollins, Ambrose, and then finally Reigns. What worries me, though, is John Cena is now expected back sooner than expected. I know we all think it's possible, but do the powers that be think that they can get Punk and Bryan over as big enough babyfaces that they'll actually turn Cena heel to side with HHH and his goons? He could make the surprise return, with everyone expecting him to help Bryan out and then lay him out, in revenge for Bryan beating him in the first place.
