  1. Not much middle ground on Brody either
  2. The 2/8/85 show is the only one labeled wrong
  3. Kris is joined by Dylan Hales (Wrestling Culture) & Kevin Cerrutti (AWA Wrestling Historian Khawk) to discuss the career of Nick Bockwinkel. We go in depth about all the trials and tribulations of Nick’s career especially all the places he went as AWA Champion truly making it a world title. We also go over all of the great opponents he faced as champion and talk about his legendary tag team with Ray Stevens and partnership with Bobby Heenan which turned the AWA on it’s head. We also talk about some lesser known angles in Bock’s career especially one involving Gordon Solie which is a must listen. Sit under the learning tree with us because this is a must listen. http://placetobenation.com/exile-on-badstreet-19-the-life-times-of-nick-bockwinkel/
  4. Kris & David are joined by Pete Stein (Death Valley Driver Video Review) to discuss the week that was November 17-23, 1991. 5. World Class babyface work was different than every other territory at the time.....their matches were built like real fights especially Von Erich matches....there wasn't a whole lot of your standardized structure it was just guys scrapping with each other.
  6. Big John Studd's LJN figure was way more mobile than he was
  7. is that the latest episode or one yet to be released? what did you make of Hennigs run? It's on the show that dropped today......regarding Hennig.....he wasn't the same guy of course after the injuries but he didn't have the aura he did in WWF although we did get the West Texas Rednecks.
  8. Funny this topic comes up as we talk about this on the latest Between the Sheets regarding Hennig, Piper, and others
  9. Ah yes that is correct....I forgot about the AJPW thing
  10. Yep you are correct on Nikita but Adams I'm not sure of
  11. Kris & David are joined by Dave Prazak (SHIMMER) to discuss the week that was November 10-16, 1996. 12. Well the problem is with Sid in Memphis is that you don't have complete matches to really go by but in clip form he looked like a different worker than anywhere else.....
  13. Gargano had the best weekend of his career last weekend......both EVOLVE shows were fantastic and ended the year on a high note but yes the Florida crowds are TERRIBLE mostly.
  14. New Orleans is the top Super Bowl city though so let's not get crazy about them being behind other markets
  15. One word......Brody
  16. And that is totally understandable.....if you are doing it for ancillary reasons then that's different.
  17. By the time of the reboot in 2000 they were all gone but Rey and Juvy
  18. Surprised Inoki didn't get Larry Holmes over for a shot
  19. George Foreman was the biggest "name" that would fight Moorer at the time
  20. I thought the Morrison fight was before and yes I forgot the WBC wasn't involved with the match at that time
  21. Yeah I never believed that deal to begin with
  22. You can't judge Mania's by gates anymore because they are like Super Bowls and will sellout regardless these days. PPV buys would've told the tale more than that
