  1. Well, Foley WAS legit injured when he got off the stretcher. Lol
  2. I think this is the best possible explanation of what I've been trying to say about promos. Thank you. Yeah, but who sat there and said "you know, I really like Danial Bryan, but what asshole HHH said makes me think otherwise"?
  3. A Goatse spree from a message board "terrorist"? What is this, 2004?
  4. I'm fucking laughing my ass off listening to Austin and Gabriel Iglesias bullshit while getting shitfaced doing shots together.
  5. By HHH and Steph. Who watched those and said " I can't get behind Bryan because the two people everyone hates are insulting him." They were doing "evil Internet perception of us "
  6. An aside, but the term "top guy" seems to have two different definitions between smart fans and guys in the business . On Austin's show with Bryan they went on for awhile about what life was like for Bryan now that he's a top guy.
  7. Johnny and I argue about this stuff in everyday conversation. This isn't a heel turn. I was also heroically drunk and stoned. So much so that later that night I had a come to Jesus meeting with one of my room mates about some shit that'd been bothering me for 6 months.
  8. Except for the greatest match of all time.
  9. No way, man. You KNOW Andy would have loved it. He would have loved it. Still who ever said Kaufman had good taste. Andy never really did anything "tasteless." Granted, I don't think anything is tasteless as long as it's funny. COMING SOON to the Titans Of Wrestling Podcast: "BAD TASTE. The Great Debate".
  10. No way, man. You KNOW Andy would have loved it.
  11. Lots of average wrestlers made it in the territories or had decent careers. I guess the question would be could he have made it as far? I personally think Gibson on his own would have been at jobber level once the territory days were over about the same level as Randy Rose. Also I love how W2BTD lists a pile of pretty good workers as average and it's my naming Gibson that gets attention. Is it just that I'm more fun to argue with? Nah, you're just wrong.
  12. Do you think he would have made it without Ricky? Now think about it the other way around. Would Ricky have made it? There's nothing about Gibson that suggests to me that he's anything above average. Gibson was great before Ricky with his brother. And no, I don't think Morton would be as fondly remembered without Robert. They were perfect together. And just because Ricky was one of the best of all time doesn't make Robert "average"
  13. Robert Gibson was great, Parv. You're high.

  15. Man just wait til I totally get over my yearly winter laryngitis voice and the impressions get a million times better.
  16. Perry was super popular everywhere at the time. They got him right at the peak of his 15 minutes. That being said, no celebrity was more huge in a Mania than Mr T until Tyson. And for my generation T was HUGE.
  17. If you don't think that Punk is gonna beat HHH than you're high, brother.
  18. I'm also hoping that Kane has been in on it. Some Team Hell No vs Wyatt's programs will be a fun bit for awhile.
  19. Warrior.
  20. Again, I don't think he did either: Harley hit a headbutt drop, a swank kneelift to the skull and another, more theatrical headbutt drop before trying for the second pile driver. That one didn't get hit: Harley wanted to get back body dropped. John It actually is just me goofing with Parv about both our debate on the next show and our ongoing piledriver talk on a lot of the shows. And let's face it. Harley's "fall sideways" piledriver looks like shit compared to Bob's.
  21. Shrugged off implies him no selling it. Shake off implies him showing showing his toughness.

Jesus, That flying kick Reigns did from the floor to the apron.....holy fuck.
  23. And Harley's piledriver here looks like shit, it's perfectly natural for bob to shake it off grab Harley and spike him with a piledriver of hot death while saying "THAT'S how the Champ in New York does it, motherfucker!"
  24. Not at all, man. The point of him having Miz as his coach was intended to be something to piss fans off about. They played up that Bryan was a 14 year vet and they had the dude who's gimmick at the time was "undeserving entitled guy" mentoring him. It was supposed to be ridiculous and they completely played into it as it was pretty much the only storyline in NXT. They even eventually had Bryan beat Miz for the US belt in a culmination of the angle, eventually.
