  1. Colorado is full of rednecks, just not southern ones.
  2. I know the Conrad podcasts are hit and miss for a lot of people, but the shows he's been doing with this show's creators add a TON of info they couldn't fit into the episodes. Conrad is pretty blah and the creators aren't all that engaging but there's a lot of info there.
  3. Yep. For Christ's sake, there are unions for stuntmen, actors, athletes, and musicians. Wrestlers are at the least three of those. Honky Tonk Man is all four. Like you said, the sooner wrestling is considered a complete performance art, which it is and always has been, the sooner they can be unionized at some level.
  4. I just heard the creators on the Conrad podcast say that that cop also was a crusader who busted many crooked cops and went on to help create the TSA after 9/11. But the show did make him look shady, but it was more likely that for him it was just another cold case. What raised my eyebrow was that Tonga Kid was at the hotel. As best as I can remember, Tonga Kid didn't debut until the Piper feud in 84. Was he there working the undercard with a different name?
  5. Cash Wheeler sounds like a character in a bad Speed Racer rip off cartoon.
  6. I saw Mania 1 and 2 on closed circuit and Mania 3 on PPV. Then I kinda lost interest for awhile, watched 8 on PPV then the next was 10. I haven't missed one since.
  7. If they do tape this and put it out it'll probably be the first Mania since 9 that I don't watch. I just can't watch these shows with no audience, be it WWE or AEW.
  8. Yet here Gulak is on TV with Bryan. And if you aren't naming your sources, no one cares.
  9. And Gulak is one of the only guys from the OG 205 crew who showed any personality and character work. He's not some bland work rate dude. He was doing the PowerPoint stuff, the " No high flying moves" stuff, etc, etc. He's the total deal.
  10. The Internet is neat. I just watched this show I was at again, but the version you all saw. Holy shit, they did an amazing job making the 1st Bank Center look huge and packed. We were a loud crowd but it wasn't sold out and the non hard camera side had been blocked off for ticket sales since day one. The only people sitting there were folks who apparently just wanted to sit in the dark away from others. It was a " sit wherever" crowd in the stands not on TV. The place holds 6500 and I'd guesstimate it was between 4500 to 5000. But you couldn't tell that based on the TV.
  11. I think that if Bryan wants to get guys over on FOX, Vince would be all about it. By now it's clear that Bryan is a bulletproof top guy.
  12. I just got home and that show was a fucking blast live.
  13. I'll be there tonight. Gonna get my "Philly crowd" vibe on.
  14. Two weeks ago there were slight "video glitches", this week they were bigger. Someone is either debuting or being rebooted. Its either Sami Calihan or Jericho because those are the only two who Ive seen do this.
  15. Elias is a good guy now, so I'm not too sure about this one, unless they turn him again.
  16. I want Gargano and Ciampa to feud forever like Rich and Sawyer.
  17. "Sure they're on tv killing it right now, but they might not be in the main event someday so I'm bummed" is certainly a take.
  18. Fred Blassie don't give a fuck that "biting is illegal in pro wrestling"
  19. I loved RAW , fake blood and all, but I gotta wonder how long they can have Evil Jesus as a character before there's some dopey "outrage" from the Church people . Cause lots of guys have done messiah gimmicks, but none of them actually looked like the buff Jesus with the swimmers body that us Catholics grew up with.
  20. We're still taking a break. However, I am available for any and all podcast guest spots. Not just wrestling, anything. It could be a knitting podcast, I'll figure it out. What I'm saying is, I'm horny for the mic. Need a guest, podcasters? Yer looking at him. I'm starved for attention. I will be on The Military Industrial Suplex in March , which will be dope as fuck.
  21. BL, dontcha know that much like elephants, wrestling geeks never forget? Also, they love peanuts and are the size of elephants.
  22. That show fucking ruled . We had so much fun here watching, cheering, booing, and eating a buffet of food. We made enough food for a small army. Everyone here had a great time.
  23. Lawler and Dundee teamed after blindings, fireballs, head shavings, and all kinds of shit. It's wrestling. And I caught most of this show and it was super fun, loved it. Walter is awesome and is a super over .....nazi? Sorry, Imperium just screams "NAZI GIMMICK" to me, and that's my problem, I guess.
  24. edit: double post
  25. I'm just baffled that anyone knows the lyrics.
