  1. I really liked that match. It was fun.
  2. I'm gonna take a drink every time I hear "wild card". I expect to wake up in the tub.
  3. Naomi's Bumblebee outfit is dope. I was just reading an article about how Bumblebee was DC's first female African-American super hero.
  4. Oh and finding out that JR and Heenan liked to smoke weed together before doing VO's is my favorite thing ever.
  5. JR talking about "Who had Meltzer duty" in various promotions is really gonna fuck with Prichard and Bischoff's narratives.
  6. You can hear Kelly (Ricky Jackson), Pete (Shoe), and me talk about all this early World Class insanity on World Cast, one of many great podcasts on the PWO podcast network. Even if you think I'm an asshole, check it out. We're fun!
  7. I'm not done with it. Since I'm never going to sit on the coach and watch a show while listening to a podcast, watch along shows are hit and miss. But so far there's been some good conversation about things that aren't happening on the screen.
  8. What the fuck? I was about to write about how awesome the Von Erich episode was and why....and I'm reading about Native American and Gypsy curses being taken seriously?
  9. It's the reverse of World Cast. We talk about a show that went from ice cold to hot, they're talking about a show that went from hot to awful, and really fast.
  10. As far as the stocks thing goes, once the FOX money comes in, the stocks will leap up. And so will viewership, which will lead to more interest in WWE. Vince getting a show on one of the big four networks is the long con. I know we're in the age of streaming, but don't ever think that there's not a ton of folks who still watch TV the old fashioned way. And being on FOX also means that people who can't afford anything but the modern version of "rabbit ears" to watch TV for free are gonna get Smackdown as one of a limited amount of choices to watch on the night it airs. And people will watch.
  11. Because the person with the substance problem deserves a chance to go to rehab. The boss who allows the person who's intoxicated to work should be held responsible.
  12. Well now two of the Titans have gone fucking nuts.
  13. "The Viking Experience"? Fucking really? I mean, I get not wanting "War" in the name, and wanting to go all in on the Viking gimmick. But "The Viking Experience "? That stinks.
  14. Wow. That's some next level projection. It's amazing how you can find imaginary ways to shit on Stephanie McMahon. Did I say "amazing"? I meant " weird as fuck".
  15. I just rewatched Kofi vs Bryan to experience it again. I never do that. My all time favorite match list just got a new member. And I watched it as it happened surrounded by friends and family, most of whom? Not wrestling fans by any means, and two 8 year olds who were all into it and celebrating for Kofi. It was wonderful.
  16. That was the best Mania in a long, long time. I'm still smiling.
  17. Hey hey man! I love and miss you and you couldn't be more wrong.
  18. That was a total clusterfuck and I loved every minute of it. THAT is what a Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame show should be like.
  19. Check it out, gang. It's one of our funniest shows.
  20. I'm sorry, but I don't get why so many people are going nuts about the Magee/ Hart match being found. I totally understand that it's cool that it turned up. But it's just a young Bret Hart bumping around for a stiff. It's a super cool find, but I'm the long run, who cares? I'm not sure I even buy the whole, " That's my next Champion " bit. I can't see Vince thinking "Tom Magee...That's a name that'll sell dolls!" If only Magee came in with a name like Dingo Warrior.
  21. My favorite thing from the Mania 10 show was Bruce telling us he was an asshole, idiotic dope dealing with Burt Reynolds and Little Richard.
  22. That's such a lame way to legitimize dumb behavior ." If you don't like a TV show, why would you watch it?" and "If you aren't watching it, why are you commenting on it"? aren't crazy questions. From 1989 through 2005 I was one of the biggest Simpsons fans alive. I had every book and never missed an episode. Then I slowly realized I wasn't liking it anymore. I stopped watching it. If I went on Simpsons message boards to complain about a show I didn't watch anymore, I'd kill myself once I realized what I was doing. "I haven't watched Simpsons for years, here's my hot take on it." See how dumb that is? Only dumber thing would be me watching every week and hating it, even if a joke or two landed for me. Focus on what you like, not what you don't like.
  23. I totally think this Lacey stuff is to get audiences ready for her coming on strong after Mania. It's a great slow way to introduce her and she'll be a player after Mania. She's already great at everything that actually matters.
  24. I thought the same thing about the gear. It was the "Ready, Willing, and Gable" towel that raised my eyebrow. And I want him to help Corbin, not as a lackey, but as a way to get over as a heel. Gable can be a great heel, he showed it in NXT.
  25. I love that Lacey Evans is doing the Brutus Beefcake intro gimmick. Just walking out in the middle of matches or whatever.
