Separate But Equal?: The ultimate goal of Feminism in wrestling
Grimmas replied to Luchaundead's topic in Pro Wrestling
I saw you tweet this - asking why companies don't book them 50/50 essentially and it's an interesting thought. Do you mean the WWE, or everyone left outside of WWE at the moment? ROH taped their second Women of Honor TV special tonight (my bet - not earth shattering - is that this airs one of the weeks after Final Battle, or maybe that weekend). This will be the second all WoH TV shown on national syndication this year. I feel like this is worth noting because this is ground breaking in a way. The WWE has never done something like this. You go back to G.L.O.W., right? CZW does all women's shows sometimes too. FMW did some. Smash does it once a year. It's fine, but those are specials. However, why not do it all the time. 50/50? You have 8 matches, 4 men and 4 women. The talent is there. Just because there are currently enough women to put together a few matches on every show does not automatically make it a good idea for either business or the product. I'm not saying because there are the wrestlers, I'm saying because there is the talent. Last year the best thing about NXT was the women. They could had easily been a half and half promotion. -

I really think you could easily do a half women, half men promotion with a women's title, women's tag titles, men's title, and men's tag titles. The talent is out there, I don't know why you would have to treat the women like a cruiserweight or tag division special attraction in 2016. -

Grimmas replied to Grimmas's topic in 1995 Project
Go with 12 hours. Then the person missed can jump it when they check this. Although, is he aware of this draft at all? -
What about someone like Keith Lee or Moose or Brian Cage, Coffey?

Wrestling365 will record it's pilot during this period. Wrestling365 will be a daily 15-30 minute show that will be a journal masked as a this day in wrestling review. Each episode Steven (and somtimes a guest) will watch a match from the history of wrestling that took place that date (example for a January 4th, 2017 episode of the show a match will be picked from say January 4th, 1995 to be reviewed). However, since it's daily, it also have elements of Steven's life being talked about. Thanks to Charles for the great idea. If the pilot goes well, this podcast may take place for the entire year of 2017.

Be the wrestling version of CFL to NFL (WWE). Half Canadian roster, equal men and women, have a Women's & Men's main title and tag titles. Work tours and be run more like AJPW in the 90's (ie hierarchy, everyone has a tag partner but works' singles, etc...) A less dangerous style though, less head drops. That kind of stuff. Can WWE sign them? I think they have some valid contracts. If they are available you got to take Pentagon Jr. and maybe Mantanza and Puma as well.

WCW was talking to someone within the ECW locker room and offered them a hefty contract, however we have learned that the person in question turned down the offer. -

Rookie Draft for November plus Steals and Stampede's Roster
Grimmas replied to Grimmas's topic in 1995 Project
Also roster limits apply. Can't go over max for your side, otherwise you need to drop someone. Also remember to stay within the percentage for how much foreign talent you can have. Post rookie draft, Stampede will pick their roster and free agency will start up again. -

WCW has put in their steal attempt and it's someone from the ECW locker room. Once their bid is in, we will see if their are successful. -
Amazing picture! Will this be the future tag team champions?
