This is a match for people who love Hashimoto beat downs. Early on Corino tries to keep up with Hashimoto's kicks, but Hashimoto is too much. He beats him to a bloody pulp and then the referee stops it and awards the title to Hashimoto. Corino tries a post match comeback, gets beat up again until the locker room saves the day. It goes about 10 minutes, but is a LOT of fun. Corino showed some nice signs as a babyface and Hashimoto is awesome Hashimoto here. #wrestling365

I love Bret Hart's offense. Also Goldberg has amazing power and MMA type moves.

I am happy rejecting a million stupid trades, if you guys want to offer stupid trades.

We do a have a Kawada vs Gary Albright match coming up on the Excite Series Parv. Also, I don't think going 60 is something that is needed. Flair, Harley those guys had way more practice doing it. Kawada does not and quite frankly nobody really should. There is no need to go 60 more than a few times in your career.

For today there is also a Chono-Hogan match on a NJPW dome show. Probably should be on the list. Also, this could be a very helpful resource going forward. http://www.profightdb.com/this-day-in-history.html It lists all the cards taped on that day.

I"ve been mixing my time between stuff for podcasts (current, all japan 90's), mask/hair matches and greatest matches ever watching. I am really on board with mask vs mask, mask vs hair, hair vs hair matches as the best wrestling. Even when the work isn't great, the intensity and emotion is.

Let me know if I should accept/reject the proposed trades.
-
I can approve/veto trades if need be.

Re-watched the main event and upon reflection I am bumping it up to **** 1/2. I like this match more and more every day.

That's what it is all about right? Certainly wasn't the intention of the game, but the founding members are all gone so enjoy.

Ok.. weird and wild stuff.

I think there was some confusion on the trade that was made, I didn't think we were going through with this part until December 1st. The trade involved JYD and Youngblood for Rick Rood. I can take Youngblood off the books though for this purpose if it goes through. Ok, I know I am not in this game anymore but you can not trade JYD in 1983 for Rick Rude. That is complete insanity.

Two days in and I can find time to watch and write some thoughts on one match a day, easy!

[1998-10-12-WCW-Nitro] Hulk Hogan & Bret Hart vs Sting & Ultimate Warrior
Grimmas replied to Loss's topic in October 1998
I have heard about this, but never saw it. Wrestling 365! They probably should had ran this on PPV with different booking of course. This would had been a bigger draw than that debacle at Fall Brawl. I understand Bischoff cared more about ratings than buyrates as a TV company ran them, but this is free money given away. This turned into a pretty decent southern tag. Sting had a good shine, the heels double team, do a blind switch and cheat on a pretty good FIP sequence by Sting. I'm surprised Hogan & Bret were as good as a heel team as they were. The hot tag to Warrior was hot, as he was always good at that. Clothesline after clothesline. Warrior looks to finish off Bret, Hogan smacks from behind then we get the nWo run in to ruin everything. As the nWo beats down Sting & Warrior the whole ring fills with smoke and Warrior is thrown to the floor. Apparantly the nWo was stopping Warrior from disappearing by throwing him to the floor? Sting makes comeback with the bat and Warrior-Hogan brawl outside as the nWo runs away. This was actually a pretty decent match and not a horrible way to build to Warrior-Hogan. I'm surprised.- 4 replies

http://placetobenation.com/this-week-in-wrestling-for-october-11-2015/ A couple of days late and one man short, This Week in Wrestling for October 11, 2015 is here. While Steven is enjoying Thanksgiving with the family, Pete and Johnny bring you your weekly current wrestling podcast fix. In the first fall (3:43) the boys dive into NWA Classics looking at Gino Hernandez vs Harley Race. The second fall (16:14) goes international as Pete talks Revolution Pro from the UK. In the final fall (24:39) Pete and Johnny break down the WWE. From Raw to NXT to the Network specials it’s all here.
-
97 the WWF would had been in big trouble, since international and Canada were heavily relied on for touring and Bret was the top draw there.
-
Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy Raw. Probably filled with Indian-Pilgrim food fights and all that jazz.
-
Yes, that might do it. Will be rewatching soon with that in mind.

It's the day one of the trial version of Wrestling 365, so here we go. This starts off with a super intense collar and elbow tie up which I always love. The focus for Ole is the ribs with punches, knees, etc.. Ricky kept trying to fight him off, but Ole was focused. The crowd was super crazy too. What does Ricky do to counter, he goes after Ole's ribs! Yes we have a rib battle with no Abdullah in sight. They have a commercial and they come back and Ole is in charge. Never a fan of that, I like seeing the transitions. Although back from break Ole is going after the nose they broke on Ricky over the summer. Ole's tossing of Ricky into the turnbuckle nose first as one of the best I have ever seen. Ricky makes the comeback, gets a few nearfalls and then Ole regains control going after the ribs again. Just great pro-wrestling. The punching fest between these two was great here and this crowd. Did I mention the crowd? There is some back and forth action as Ricky out hearts Ole and then Ole outsmarts Ricky. A crossbody by Ricky could had been the end, but Arn jumped in for the DQ. Double Gourdbuster by the Andersons brings out Dusty and some elbows. Arn drags Ricky to the floor and rubs his nose on the concrete. Just brutal. Tully out too and now Dusty is double teamed too.Magnum finally comes out and the Horsemen leave. Dillon and Horsemen promo after. Morton done. Dusty done. Magnum is next. This match was freaking great even if it was short, but the angle afterwards was even better. This is the perfect kind of segment. Everybody should watch.

I will dedicate to watch at minimum one match each day in this project!
-
That is why I made this post. You have watched a lot or you wouldn't be here. We all have gaps, watch the wrestling you want. It's not going to be perfect, but a snapshot of your current viewing.
-
Why not keep up a dummy promotion and just have the roster there, but you just don't get the results?
-
Awesome. It can't be worse than my list. True. Your list will be the worst. Lawler number 2 is not soo bad.
-
I appreciate the concern, but I am out. My friend time is super limited lately and there is other projects that are being left behind that are more important. I enjoyed this for what it was, but that time is over.
