Observer HOF prediction/ballot question thread

WWE's booking is shitty, but any returning star is going to get a big pop for their return or a sporadic appearance. I don't think that is a sign they are more over at all. -
Ted Allen for me. The Nightmare!

http://placetobenation.com/42075-2/ It's time to kick it to This Week in Wrestling for October 3, 2015. Pete and Steven start the first fall (2:02) with our NWA Classics match of the week between Butch Reed/Jim Duggan and Ted DiBiase/Steve Williams. We head over to ROH TV featuring the stars of NJPW and a side talk about selling in modern wrestling. The hot finish to the first fall talks ROH VOD from September 11, 2015. Pete and Steven go international for fall number 2 (1:09:47) starting in NJPW talking Destruction in Kobe. Pete ends his night talking Progress wrestling. The final fall (1:28:49) sees the rare pairing of Steven and Johnny as they talk WWE. We talk about eating hats and then move into Table for Three with MadUSA, Ivory and Molly Holly. We move to talking about JBL Legends with Eric Bischoff, part 2. Including talking about DX invading Nitro. We move into NXT which hypes the special and end the fall with talk of Raw and Cena taking time off.

Wait.. we runs an old school podcast? -
WWE coud: Put people in tag teams to give them a role. Do way more six mans and less star vs star one on one matches on TV. Give time off. Why not let every wrestler take 3 months off a year? Not everybody has to been on TV and PPV every time. All those things would help to keep wrestlers fresh.

He only wants 7 in total, not more is what you are missing.
-
This is the best thing to happen out of this draft.
-
Got you. I would say cancel the entire deal with Parv and we can talk about bringing in Andre at some point.
-
Would Boricua keeping the 7 dates of Andre, but Slaughter never coming to Mid-South work out? EDIT: No idea. I had Valentine going to WWF for Andre, but Valentine never went. Obvious Valentine will already be at MSG and Spectrum shows. I don't him going to Mid-South, b/c I used Andre while the WWF was around.

Damn did the WWF have a roster that I am not interested in or what. I know the WWF was real good at having a great main, but shitty undercard. It's not something I want to copy. That being said, I am in a position where I am about to run the WWF area, so i need established guys in that area. Luckily I have Koloff, Valentine, Garea, Backlund, Martel, so that is a fine base. However taking over WWF TV with Billy Red Lyons as the voice, might not work. That means I am stuck taking Gorilla and I just hope that WWF undercard jobbers are left when it comes back to me. All the guys picked above me would had worked well, but alas they are gone. Monsoon to the announce booth, I guess.

Boricua, it seems, was under the assumpion that previous deals with Parv died, since the WWF died.

I was going to pop into this thread to see what people thought of Sasuke. At his prime, he was so great. What a hot streak from 94-97. It's a short streak though. I may consider voting him based on the M-Pro tags, the Liger and Dos Caras matches, but we will see. A good comparison would be maybe someone like Juventud Guerrera?
-
Yeah, if everybody just gets the dates they had before then Boricua just got screwed.
-
If they had a great product all year then the drops in September wouldn't be bad like they are now.
-
Nowadays I will give you that. During the Bryan feud she was really good though.
-
Royal Rumble 2007 is their best match. Start there. Outside of that, I remember all their matches that didn't involve LOD to be stellar. Especially the London & Kendrick.
-
Well Stephanie is a good promo...

Can anyone send a PM. I'm waiting to get my first piece of talent before I book my shows. Only a few days behind, hopefully not fall further.

This Week in Wrestling for 9/26/2015

Thanks. I hate this phrase, but let's agree to disagree. -
The Shield vs Wyatts as the height of The Shield. After the Evolution feud they were broken up, so they did not come out of it looking better. In fact, all three came out of it looking worse. As for Bryan, look at his reactions from SummerSlam through the Rumble. How did Triple H make those reactions higher? Yes, he put him over, but he was already the most over person in the company. Triple H made him look good and all, but it's not like he was all the sudden a bigger star than before. Rewatch the 2013 Rumble if you have to, to remember how over he was. That is two instances were Triple H latched himself onto a super hot act and jobber to them. However, he was still latching himself onto a super hot act and did nothing to make those acts hotter. In fact immediately after both programs ended, they were worse off (broken up or facing Kane). How did either get more over by facing Triple H. Was Bryan more over the night after Mania than at the Rumble? Was The Shield more over after they broke up then against the Wyatts?

I don't want to get into this again. If you think those things are the same, enjoy thinking that. Glad you listened anyway.
