With Houston picked, I pass.

Everyone makes some good points. Maple Leaf Wrestling will keep pushing the boundaries of pro wrestling. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it will fail. Stay tuned.
-
Kris would like feeback on the latest Maple Leaf Wrestling show in the MLW Results thread. I would be curious too... it's a bizarre match. Was it overkill?
-
NWA Canadian Champion Rick Martel vs ???? if we can get Ric Flair, that would be ideal. If not I can send in Ivan Koloff.
-
So, we blame Verne.

Thanks man. It's a nice read. Hogan and Road Warriors are being dealt with very well! I figure what people are reading here are reviews that appear on websites. Most sites don't do word for word promos, just what they talk about. That and I am lazy.

Including promos and in ring work I take Funk and Lawler over Flair still
-
The reason it's just in-ring and not total package, is because if it was total package, Flair curbstomps all as the only guy who is in both the GOAT in-ring and GOAT promo conversations. I don't think there is any peer when it comes to everything. Flair's a better in-ring worker than Dusty, Rock, Austin, Piper, Foley etc. and a better talker than any US-based worker with a big rep you care to name (Steamboat, Benoit, Angle, HBK, Eddie, Bryan, Rey, etc. etc.), and the Japanese guys we don't know about as promos. I think Flair is so far and away in front the number 1 in terms of total package, that it would seriously detract from there being any point in running the thing. I don't include promos for this reason, but in ring charisma certainly helps a candidate.

I think she's easily just as technically proficient and crisp as either one of them, yes. There really isn't anything special about either Balor or Neville when it comes to crispness or technique though, so it's not really saying all that much to say she's better than them. 100% agreed. Sasha blows those two out of the water. Heck even Becky is way better.

This is an awesome post. Now, if we can get Johnny to start criticizing the shitty WWE stuff, the transformation will be complete. I'm working on it on This Week in Wrestling podcast.

I have the main events planned out for the Maple Leaf Gardens shows for the rest of the year, plus the main ideas planned out till July 1st. Booking shows comes easy to just hint what is coming and hype future stuff.
-
I didn't realize how long that main would take until I worked it out.

High on it for an Angle match
-
Exactly. 90 is alright, but 88 is a great ass match that everybody should watch. The announcers miss sooo much, as does the camera man, but there is a lot of depth if you watch closely. Thank you. It was weeks of re-watch to come up with that.
