    Updates!

I imagine at the end of the day most people won't have seen enough of everybody to really say they can objectively consider everything and everyone. That's the fun of it, you go with what you've seen and what you like. Enjoy the road there! I'm under the philosophy of dipping a little into everyone hyped and then focusing on what I like. I know I will be a high voter on many and a low voter or more still. That doesn't bother me at all.
  2. I'm really curious what people think about this episode. It was kind of a departure, but it seemed to go really great in my head. I loved doing this kind of show even if it wasn't a "proper" Super Show and it was more like a Voices of Wrestling or other normal two dudes talking about wrestling without a set agenda show.
  3. http://placetobenation.com/pro-wrestling-super-show-2014-super-show-awards-2015-wrestling-talk-earthquake-matches/ Hosts: Steven Graham & Tim Livingston This week's episode begins with the reveal of your votes for the 2014 Pro-Wrestling Super Show Awards! We talk 2015 wrestling and answer listener questions. All of this leads to a discussion on racism and sexism in wrestling. Before the break we look at Steven's WrestleMania 31 fantasy booking. Afterwards we return to live-watch two awesome Earthquake-Big Boss Man matches on youtube. Play along at home: Match #1 Match #2

  5. Really?? I'm glad I didn't lose any more points for that.
  6. Wow 15 is way too high. 15 is the worst by far. A hundred hot shot angles. Shitty short matches. Chyna turns twice on the show? Bossman being hung? Heck, two matches are devoid of heat because the titles change hand 6 days before. Rock-Austin is a good match, but is by far their worst big match. Fuck that show.
  7. I think Kris goes on the show after somebody can win three shows in a row.
  8. After being on Liste'em and Learn with Matt Foy doing the top ten ECW matches I have been asked back on to do a best of the indies of the 2000's. I watched a lot of this stuff, but I want to make sure I don't miss anything. Outside of the stuff voted for in the WON Awards what should I be checking out? I have seen some cool stuff that may make my list that wasn't voted upon there, so I assume there is a lot out there. What is your favourite matches in that criteria?
  9. I have tickets to both those shows in Toronto and am looking forward to them. Watching the tv now to catch up.
  10. I think a lot of non fans of All Japan still would dig that tag match. If nothing else, it was a lot of fun. It wasn't as crazy overboard as a Young Bucks match or anything and that has pretty mass appeal.
  11. I got a free emoji is all...
  12. WCW Monday Nitro Civic Center in Florence, SC September 25, 1995 The show opens with Eric Bischoff, Dusty Rhodes & Steve "Mongo" McMichael discussing the main event of Randy Savage versus Kevin Sullivan. They also speculate about what Lex Luger has to say and the health of WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan. 1. Disco Inferno vs Dean Malenko In Disco's debut he gets picked apart by Malenko and submits in 5 minutes. He did get some good dancing in before the match though, but had to limp to the back and is dancing was hurt afterwards. Gene Okerlund interviews "Macho Man" Randy Savage on the ramp about his upcoming match with Sullivan and about the Sabu situation. Savage wants Sabu at Halloween Havoc in a Detroit Street Fight. He will show him who the wildest in WCW really is. As for Sullivan, he's taking him out tonight. 2. Mike Rotundo & Scott Norton vs The Nasty Boys A strong brawl ends in 8 minutes when Norton gives Sags a shoulder breaker. Norton and Rotundo make the belts motion, indicating they want the titles from Harlem Heat. Lex Luger is invited to the ramp by Gene Okerlund. Luger makes it simple, he joined Hogan's team at War Games to win and they did. He wants his title shot with Hogan at Halloween Havoc. Gene explains that Hogan is injured and may not be able to compete. Lex doesn't care and says he should be awarded the title then. Jimmy Hart comes out and let's Lex know that Hogan will give him an answer next week. 3. "Macho Man' Randy Savage vs Kevin Sullivan. A wild 9 minute brawl ends by DQ when Sabu comes down and attacks Savage. They brawl all over the arena and into the back before the show goes off the air as it is Eric reminds us about Hogan's response and about Pillman defending the United States Title next week in a rematch with Sting.
  13. Kenny vs Spenny, that is it! Americans don't have toques?
  14. Fucking Russo?
  15. I was just downloading the newest episode of one of my favourite podcasts and it is about the montreal scewjob. Will listen tomorrow, but I am sure it will be fascinating. http://www.radiolab.org/story/montreal-screwjob/

  17. This was a lot of fun to do. Always love talking ECW.
  18. It's highly entertaining though!
  19. It's already 10:30 this may be the latest the WWE has ever started a main event.
  20. OH my god they did something right!!!
  21. What would be the alternative? What a weird statement. You don't have to completely lie to hype a match. Makes them seem completely out of touch. Something tells me PWO isn't the epicenter for what the majority of the WWE audience want to see. Let me repeat. Wanting to see a match does not make it a match we have been dreaming about for years.

  23. Why are they talking like Sting-Triple H is a match that people have been dreaming about for years?
  24. I have read it six times and I still am not sure the meaning of it.
  25. WCW Monday Nitro Freedom Hall in Johnson City, TN September 18, 1995 The show opens with Eric Bischoff, Dusty Rhodes & Steve McMichael running down the events of last night's Fall Brawl. There will be an update on Hulk Hogan later in the evening after the vicious attack by The Giant. The main event tonight will be Brian Pillman challenging Sting for the United States title after his victory last night over Johnny B. Badd. 1. "Mr. Wonderfull" Paul Orndorff vs Marcus Bagwell w/ Scotty Riggs Orndorff comes out with more confidence than ever before. He has a nice new robe and some sexy women carry a full length mirror with him for him to pose into, ala Lex Luger in WWF. He gets the win with a piledriver in 8 minutes. Bagwell put up a valiant effort. "Mean" Gene Okerlund is in the ramp and brings out The Dungeon of Doom. Sullivan does most of the talking about how Hogan is gone and out of wrestling after The Giant put him through the ring last night. He demands that the WCW executive committee hand the title over now! Sabu gets Sullivan's attention. Sullivan reminds everybody about Sabu putting Randy Savage through a table last night. Sabu wants Savage at Halloween Havoc to prove who the real savage in wrestling is! 2. Eddie Guerrero vs Mr. JL Eddie Guerrero gets the win in about 5 minutes. A fun back and forth move to get the crowd going. We are altered to something happening backstage and then send a camera man. Savage is in the back destroying the locker room and muttering to himself about Sabu. We get an update on Hulk Hogan from the Doctors. He says that Hogan has cracked ribs and he is doubtful for the time being. Eric, Dusty and Mongo are shown talking about the situation. What will this mean for the WCW Title and for Hogan's career? 3. WCW United States Champion Sting vs Brian Pillman Brian Pillman gets the win at the 16 minute mark after Pillman distracted the referee while Arn hitting Sting with brass knuckles. Arn Anderson joined Pillman at ringside half way through the match. Post match they celebrated, as Pillman is the new US Champ, until Flair ran to the ring and they left. Leaving Sting and Flair looking at each other as the show ended. During those last moments Eric promised that Luger will be at the next Nitro to issue a special challenge and the main event will be Kevin Sullivan vs Randy Savage.
