Some bad news, Dylan. Saturday was the last Metro Pro show for at least a long while. Time Warner Cable just signed a big deal with KU athletics for the station, and lots of programming changes are coming down. Wrestling was one of the cuts, and without access to the cameras/editing equipment at the tv station, Chris doesn't want to sacrifice the quality of the product just to keep going. So the promotion is going on an indefinite hiatus, and I don't know if it will ever really come back. At the very least, Chris wants to run a show for Wyatt's retirement, which is probably coming in the next year or so. We went out with a fucking bang, though. Crazy, bloody dog collar match with Wyatt and Pearce for the belt. Will make one hell of a last episode.

I am hoping someone (Bix?) is getting all this on disc.

I dug the hell out of the show. The only match I couldn't get into was Future Shock/Machines. I don't think Lethal/Edwards was a good match, but I think you had me expecting the absolute worst, and I spend most of my weekends at shows with far worse than that. And as corny as the irish whip spot was, it got a chuckle out of me as a response to Eddie's spot earlier in the match. I thought the DGUSA tag was fantastic. What they do isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I think those four are just about the best at that style. Other random thoughts: Paul London really isn't made for that type of match. I love Chuck Taylor unconditionally. Fuck Roderick Strong. I am very happy that Drake is done with that kind of stuff. The salt spot was horrifying. I thought he was dead off of that Awesome Bomb.

Pretty sure he doesn't have to worry about that.

I can't stand Lethal. I like Eddie more than you, but I'm not expecting anything watchable.

Uh oh, I am about to put that one on myself. Going in with lowered expectations, even knowing that I enjoy some of this stuff more than you do.

I also missed most of the main event because game 7 of the Stanley Cup was busy being apeshit. I'm guessing I'm not alone.

Damn. I knew it was a bad relationship, but that's gotta be rough.
