  1. From what he was saying the other night, he's finishing paramedic school soon. Don't know anything about the PT gig.
  2. As far as I know, O'Reilly is the only one who has stayed quiet about the whole thing. He seemed like a good kid. Richards & Kozina are making the biggest asses of themselves. Not that KOR wasn't involved in the bullshit.
  3. Last I heard, him and Kozina are both booked next weekend. I think Richards being done is totally separate thing. He was shit talking them Friday night, and that shoot interview clip that was floating around this weekend makes it seem like something else was up.

  5. Meanwhile nearly every reference to it on Facebook from someone involved gets a bunch of responses from the four of them tagged #TeamBandit and other shit, basically bragging about getting away with it. Calls have been made to ROH and Sinclair, but apparently Richards has been done with ROH for a few weeks now and is not being brought back.
  6. I can shed some light... The company I work for (3XW) helped a couple smaller local groups book Richards, Kozina, O'Reilly and one of their flunkies for a triple shot this weekend. They worked for us Friday night. Everything went perfectly smooth. They were totally professional and already asking about coming back to work for us again. Saturday night, I wasn't at the show. They set up camp outside the locker room, talking shit about everyone and everything involved with the show. Kozina went out for his match with Ryan, who is 16/17 years old, and told him he was changing the plan, and was going to teach him about respect. I haven't watched the video yet, but everyone I've talked to said he roughed the kid up, and legitimately choked him out in the finish. Sunday afternoon, we show up at the venue and find the promoter, a friend of mine, pissed off. The show starts in 20 minutes and none of them have arrived. Davey has been texting him all day and is now demanding to change the card and put the four of them in an 8 man tag. Jeremy has already changed up the card for them multiple times through the day, but will not take them all out of separate matches, because of promises made to other workers, to the fans, and the price that had been negotiated for 4 separate matches. Show starts, Jeremy goes out and breaks the news to the crowd that they won't be on the show, and life goes on. They finally do show up at the building before the main event goes on and demand to speak to Jeremy. He takes the issue out of the locker room and goes outside to meet them. They threaten to kick Jeremy's ass (and he's all of 140 pounds soaking wet) if he doesn't give them their money. He finally works out a deal that KOR and DR will work for a slightly reduced fee in the main event. He pays them upfront as a gesture of good faith (trying not to piss them off further, or get his ass kicked). They change into their gear and work out the plan for the match. As they're doing that, their stooge trainee is quietly running their bags back out to their truck. "Where's the wrist tape?" "Oh, I left it in the truck. Be right back." They run out the back door, into a waiting car with Kozina behind the wheel, the promoter out $350 mostly from his own pocket.
  7. The year Ross wasn't a grumpy hateful piece of shit at the Hall of Fame tryouts session. He even had a lot of good things to say about some of the guys. And I stole an empty bag of Senor J.R.'s Mexicana Style Beef Jerky that he walked away from. Gonna try to clone him.
  8. Last night's PPV was a lot of fun.

  10. I am pretty sure that as an Al Isaacs headline.
  11. I'm not talking about putting him over, I mean literally taking the beating that Brock was giving Cena.
  12. My question about booking Brock down the road, is who else on the roster is going to take the kind of ass kicking that Cena did? Having Brock come in, first match back, working the way he worked, establishes a precedent. The match was entirely Lesnar pummeling Cena with strikes, and it was stiff as hell to make it look real. Is Randy Orton going to buy off on that the way Cena did? Will CM Punk work that kind of match? Is he just going to go back to using his old offense? I don't know how you can reconcile Brock Lesnar the monster from this match with Brock Lesnar the professional wrestler he'd really need to be to be able to book again.

  14. I would also suggest Owen Hart & Booker T for under the radar 1998 picks.
  15. It wasn't like Trips playing Superman and taking on Nash w/ a sledgehammer. Nash was kicking the shit out of him, then took his time clearing off the announce table, turned around and he got cracked in the head. It was actually a neat visual, because they kept Trips out of frame until the shot. And then Nash for some reason bumped into a Christ pose, arms out and ankles crossed.
  16. Yeah, it wasn't a burial at all. Punk looked stronger than Hunter during the match, and took three pedigrees and a jacknife before he went down. It was overbooked like crazy, but no one came away looking much different than before the match. (Also, the match had been really fucking good before all the interference)
  17. Weird. I didn't hate this nearly as much as everyone else seems to.
  18. I'm not a Punk mark, but I think I'm one of the people Loss is referring to. I haven't cared for where the angle has gone the last couple weeks, and it's mostly because of Nash's involvement. I was hoping he'd be playing Diesel for Del Rio, but instead he's cutting promos that are mostly dragging. I'm still interested in where things go from here.
  19. I'll wait and see how it plays out before I make that kind of judgment. My gut instinct was to not like it, but I'm not going to say it's stupid before I see where it goes.
  20. From Insider
  21. And from the way it actually went down, what are you "cynical anti-WWE guys" going to claim when Punk goes over?
  22. Awesome. So now I need to get three yearbooks + the ECW set. Will, I'm just gonna set you up for direct deposit through my payroll.
  23. How soon does that mean we should be looking for a release?
  24. That's what I remember.
  25. I thought the intro summed up the point of it: John Eh. Obviously, my question wasn't, "WHAT was the article ABOUT?" My question was, "What was the point of the article?" As in, "What am I supposed to learn from this?" Which was, "Ric Flair is a scummy, irresponsible, cheating, money-stealing low life." Thing is, I already knew that. Just sounds like someone found some new information and decided to compile it a little bit more, which is why I am questioning it. What is the point of making an already horrible person look even worse when the facts he added only added up to something Ric had done before and was pretty much common knowledge to people that 1. know him and 2. know about him. I mean, I knew as far back as 2003 (1 year after I got online) that it would be behoove of me to avoid financial interactions with Ric Flair. Is it to protect the general public who don't know who Ric Flair is? I kinda doubt it. WE know most of this stuff, because we read the sheets and follow that kind of thing. Your casual wrestling fan legitimately thinks that Flair is a jet flyin, limousine ridin playboy. And he is. What most people don't realize is HOW he's been doing it. That makes for an interesting story. This wasn't some wrestling site, it was a very mainstream sports web site, and one designed around provocative articles. This was definitely something their reader base would be interested in.
