    Short match and decent brawl to end the show. Cactus promos are coming on strong in two promotions.

    Great segments overall. buddy Landel does a great beatdown which is sort of rare in SMW. He then cuts an amazing promo looking like a big star. The Cornette/Ross/Rock N Roll segment was glorious and the evidence against Cornette being trustworthy really is adding up and Ross is his sarcastic best in the segment.

    this was ok but still too cartoonish for my tastes. Did like how much they played out JJ not singing.

    Another good match that told a clear story. Yammamo was the clear underdog so he has to ambush and unload the arsenal to take out Maeda. He has some success and has Maeda reeling but in the end Maeda is able to overcome the onslaught and defeat Yammamo. Not as complex or well building as previous match, but also a joy to watch.

    Thankfully the Cacuts/Mikey dynamic is short so we get a pair of amazing serious Cactus promos culminating with him saying he wants Sandman and Cairo's souls in the second promo.

    Cairo teams up with Sandman who he has been feuding with for the entire year in a move that made no sense. The cane shots to Cactus looked brutal.

    Great match that escalated in hatred. Naruse throughout the match showed be inferior in strikes and as a result had to resort to more desparation, clinching, submission attempts. Well done story.

    This did seem like such an unnatural feud and I like the King's court ok but it is amazing how much time they waste with King doing his jokes.

    I liked this match better than the dome match. Match built better in my opinion and Rick was less annoying. One thing that always is shocking to me is how insignificant Mutoh is compared to Misawa, Kobashi, or kawada in All Japan. This was an all around big man tag match.

    The Blacktop Bully segment was too hokey to be anything worth caring a lot for. The Hogan/sting promo is typical and it sucks how much Sting is made to look like Hogan's new sidekick in these promos.

    SMW at this time has two high concept long term angles and while I am a lot more invested in the Cornette/Rock N Roll/Gangster angle, both are using each television show to advance the storyline and good promos are the result. Cornette and ross jabbing at each other is always fun .

    Good first appearance for Savage but it does look out of place in this setting.

    This really does feel like the first attitude style segment. Never played the game.

    Dundees jacket is horrendous but the interview and pull apart is good and it is odd to say but Dundee seems really fresh in memphis at this time.

    HOG segments have been pretty bad as the character had a direct ceiling on him coming in. Surprised to still see Lord Alfred around and the left guard commercial was pretty funny with Fatu and Simmone eating the deodorant.

    2 quick questions on this actual show. 1. did this show run head to head with the All Japan show because if so that was two nights in Japan this year (4/16) being the other with two pretty major shows going head to head 2. What was the reasoning for the tag pairings for this tournament with the double Inoue's split up? First match finish looks brutal and I wonder if the whole match is any good. Second match was great with Aja looking like a monster stretching out Totyota, Bennett trying really hard, and a beautiful comeback and finish for Toyota. If the first match is good and adds to the story, I say it is a supplement contender since this match is comfortably in my top 100 for the year. Final match is fine but not as good as second match. More spotty but less structure and emotional investment. Even though the beginning sequence between Takano and Kyoko featured no selling it was a nice "partners" face off spot. Good finish to fun night of wrestling.

    Good match with puzzling finish in how it played out. If kawada would have been sucessful on 3/95 then it would have been forgivable. I am starting to think that 1995 was really when the All Japan booking faltered based on the follow up of 1994. Baba looked less spry and game here than he did in other performances this year and the match suffered as a result. I prefer Kobashi over Taue in their respective Baba/Hansen matches.

    Thought this was awesome. Misawa in real peril and his ranking as the ace feels in jeopardy, Misawa/Kobashi working amazing as a team, Ace hanging with great submissions and a moonsault, and Doc capping off a great year. The ending Misawa comeback is awesome and so was the build and aftermath of the backdrop driver by Doc. Great match.

    Kind of getting sick of these odd couple promos to be honest.

    This was one of the few times where WWF New Generation did look big time and fresh. The comedy of Shawn being the guest was carried by Vince and his promo was detailed and focused without going too long. Well done.

    I liked this quite a bit and showed what AAA could offer in good around the arena brawling, nice highspots, and good comedy mixed in. LA parka had a real good performance and the dazed look he gives before entering the ring for the stretch run was awesome.

    Really good match that played to candidos strengths and shows Cactus can have a real good more standard match. Both guys looked great here and I would put this right behind the DWB/Jake match as the best Tv match on SMW for the year so far.

    The Cornette/Rock n Roll segment was great and Cornette did a great job of explaining his stance and at least the Rock N Rolls acted suspicious like the viewer and were not completely trustworthy like we have seen in USWA from time to time. The Cactus promo with the rhyming was my favorite from his in SMW so far. The Gansters responding is nice to continue the feud and build up anticipation as I don't know where they were going with the angle.

    One of the better USWA tv matches we have seen this year. PG-13 being inserted into the main event feels really fresh.

    Backlund is crazy and does a great promo with a great setting. I liked Diesels Raw promo but this was really bad and totally cheesy.
