  8. http://culturecrossfire.com/wrestling/halloween-havoc-91/#.VFOYRMmmU1I Wrestlecrap meets bad booking as THE CHAMBER OF HORRORS sees 10 of WCW's best confined into a cell full of weapons and electricity! Plus Phantoms and Creatures wrestle! BOOOOO! (Am I mad or making ghost sounds?) More OZ matches as he battles Bill Kazmaier, The Freebirds stink up the place again, Van Hammer wrestles a jobber (only on PPV!) Ron Simmons dreams of being world champ are undone by his own hand...and in between all the crap, Bobby Eaton and Terry Taylor try and steal the show before young studs Dustin Rhodes and Steve Austin can leave their own mark.

  11. If only the PPV had been in Florida and not Tennesee...
  12. Tony outed the Phantom as Rude earlier in the night, which kind of killed the surprise.
  13. Vader was booked odd during his first year. He came in as a heel and squashed Zenk, then had a mini babyface run, then once he signed on full time became a heel again. Don't try and figure out Mr. Hughes around this point either as he's got issues with Luger and heel Sid similtaneously and then his top of the card push stops abruptly and he works low end guys for a while before joining the York Foundation for a few weeks and then is shot back up as Luger's cornerman...and teams with Vader... http://culturecrossfire.com/wrestling/the-monday-night-wars-week-31-april-1st-1996/#.VEwzUsmmU1K Another big week as the WWF has 2 familiar faces debut the night after Wrestlemania - WCW competes by having Hulk Hogan in yet another match with the Dungeon/Horsemen, Luger vs. Flair and Sting vs. The Giant!!
  14. He was a true highlight of 89 AWA as The Russian Brute's manager.
  15. http://culturecrossfire.com/wrestling/wcw-great-american-bash-1991/#.VEkn0cmmU1I The infamous Bash 91 where Ric Flair left WCW beforehand... Luger collides with Barry Windham for the World title...plus a Scaffold match with no big bump...El Gigante and One Man Gang trying to set a new record for suck...OZ in action again... Sting and Nikita battle in a Russian Chain match...The Rock and Roll Express prove even they can be a cure for insomnia...plus Missy Hyatt naked and other clashes of limited consequence!!
  16. They beat Black Blood's replacement "The Executioner" and OMG. The internet has no record of who the pasty chubby masked jobber was in that match Good angle earlier to set Arn and Larry up as sneaky, cheatin' bastards. This seemed to set up the Steiners vs. Larry and Arn nicely for Havoc (or even a 6 man maybe) but no dice. The Hardliners are also gone after losing to Rick and a large assortment of babyfaces over the month of August. Any word why they left?
  17. Pillman gets a bye for no reason despite his "retirement". The stacked division tourney includes Johnny Rich, Mike Graham, and Joey Maggs. WOW.
  18. US Champion Sting vs. Johnny B. Badd We get clips of Abby the Butcher attacking Sting after hiding in a giant box. His breasts jiggle more than Lady Blossom’s did earlier. Badd is dominated early but he manages to hit a flying sunset flip from the top rope for a near fall. He does that spot all the time and it’s really not a spot a heel should be doing given the flashy nature of it. Both men stop dead in their tracks and stare awkwardly at each other as nobody called the next spot. Sting then tries for a roll up to move things along. Then we stop again and both guys play to the crowd. They trade armbars and both really ham it up with the facials. More armbars as the guys seem to have forgotten to put a game plan for the match together. Badd no sells a suplex and both guys stall again and stare at each other. Sting tries an Irish whip and Badd just falls down…WTF????….Sting misses a Stinger splash as another box comes down to ringside. Badd is distracted because he thinks the gift is for him. Sting then gets up and stares at the box as well. Sting then walks over to Badd and tries a small package, but they mess that up too however Sting gets the three count anyway. THIS WAS AMAZING. Watch this debacle now. What a mess of match! Cactus Jack attacks Sting after the match. Jack hits a second rope elbow onto Sting who is laid out on the floor because Jack hates his hips. A plethora of babyfaces run in to scare Jack off.
  19. Corny was going to shoot Brock with a gun....
  20. http://culturecrossfire.com/wrestling/clash-of-the-champions-15-knocksville-usa/#.VECHTsmGcg9 Bobby Eaton takes the measure of Ric Flair in a best of 3 Falls endurance battle, Lex Luger collides with The Great Muta for the number one contender's spot, Sting faces Nikita Koloff, The Steiners battle Hase and Chono, Pillman and El Gigante butt heads with the Horsemen, plus a ridiculous amount of new faces debut!!
  21. http://culturecrossfire.com/wrestling/wcw-superbrawl-91/#.VECEvsmGcg8 WCW offers up the biggest mega match possible as 4 superhero babyfaces collide in tag action as Lex Luger and Sting battle the Steiners! Flair combats Tatsumi Fujinami for the WCW World title, Brian Pillman collides with Barry Windham, El Gigante goes toe to toe with Sid Vicious, OZ makes his infamous debut, DOOM clash in a cage with one another and more!!

  25. Reed wanted to get into Rodeo and DOOM wasn't a Dusty creation, so we have the break up of a good team.
