  1. To me it's not a matter of a lack of time at all. It's a matter of lack of good booking, and hell, sometimes a lack of just plain booking. Look at what IMPACT does with its women roster. Granted, it's overall much stronger in both talent and characters, but still. The women are basically equal as men as far as importance on the show. Taya, Purrazzo, Jordynne Grace, Rosemary, Kylie (when she was there), Su Yung and now Dashwood (they struggled with her, but they found the right gimmick now with the influencer) are top characters on the show and they are featured every week in matches/angles/vignettes. They take someone from the indies in Kimber Lee and in a matter of a few weeks, she's integrated into the storylines. Same for Tasha Steelz. They always are in the mix both in midcard level and at the top of the card. AEW, well. Shida is the champ but you can go weeks without her doing anything. No angles to speak of. Nyla is the N°1 challenger, gets a manager (who BTW brings nothing at all to the table, she actualy detracts from Nyla's to me because she reeks of mid-00's WWE, which is the last thing I want to think about when I watch AEW. Wanna manager ? Use Veda Scott !) and then spends two months in the crowd alongside Dark enhancement talents. Why is she getting a title shit on PPV now when Baker has been killing girls every week and looks really good doing it (I don't quite understand how she looks better in the ring coming back from injury, but good for her) ? Speaking Dark, there are plenty of women you can use there, Kylinn King for once (they seemed to give Red Velvet some attention, good, but keep it up now), just throws them on Dynamite, give them characters and small angles. Instead, the featured talent seem to go through a revolving door : Penelope Ford was getting hot (pun intended) and then she's basically back in the background of Miro & Sabian. Allie is even worse, that girl should be in the mix at the top or at the very least in a big-ass angle, she's a great character who can work both bitch heel or cool babyface. She went from being the Bunny (which is cool but let her WORK too) to the QT angle which was going well and evolved into the Nightmare Sisters which got confusing as Brandi kinda took the heel role, now she's back to being the Bunny which basically gets her in the background again. Then you have the Big Swole push, who gave us the worst feud in AEW thus far. So yeah, basically, the booking of the women is simply not very good and kinda comes off like an afterthough. Thunder Rosa showing up was so cool, get her BACK (she's so wasted in nothing-happening-NWA land). Let Ivelisse punch some bitch in the face. I dunno, push Serena Deeb as a grumpy veteran and give her a run. When is Shanna back already ? So yeah, after one year of Dynamite, there's no twisting around the fact AEW has not done a very good job booking their women division thus far. On the positive side, it can only improve as the talent will also gain experience (Penelope & Baker have improved quite a bit during the year on every level).
  2. BTW, sumo's next basho will be at 50% capacity in the building. Wonder if NJPW will follow the trend for their next big show on the 7th. Not sold on Great-O-Khan, but sold on Priestley being Ospreay's Sensationnal Sherri.
  3. The most absurd is Cody not being able to write a book about his father because he can't write his name. Total and utter insanity.
  4. Holy shit you're so delusional. Actually : And yet you *still* kept on with the bullshit. So there. Exposed. Again. Back to AEW people.
  5. No, you were banned because you were bashing and insulting people from the board on Twitter. Hell, there's still a thread somewhere about this whole debacle. Incredible that five years later you still try to twist shit up and slip in a "Hey, look at me I was RIGHT ! I'm so connected !" promo. Well at least now you actually get me to laugh, so that's a positive I guess.
  6. And yeah, I will stop now, not because you ask me to (because you're not a mod, you're a formerly banned member on this board) but because real life today is amazingly shitty and there's much bigger issues than your bullshit. Back to AEW talk, people.
  7. "And in various parts of the World (Middle East) Porn is banned so they go wild Pro Wrestling or a bare ankle." The bolded part is at best super patronizing and condescending, at worst borderline racist. If you don't understand why or pretend to don't understand why, I can do nothing for you.
  8. Actually, it does the opposite. Because they don't need to watch anything other than porn if they want to watch porn. So yeah, you are dense on purpose. Yeah, you wouldn't want me to expose you making a borderline racist remark.
  9. I'd be shocked if Thunder Rosa spent the entire next 14 months in a totally depleted promotion that isn't even running. What's left of the NWA anyway ?
  10. How can you be so dense on purpose ? Your post about "people in the Middle-East going wild on a bare ankle because porn is banned" is both dumb as fuck, because they use VPN to counter the bans (I should know, I Iived in one of those countries and learned what a VPN was over there) and really patronizing and borderline racist, really. That was basically the jist of my edited post. But since you apparently can't let go and have to try and put yourself over at every turn, there you go. I can see why you got banned from multiple boards before, including this one a few years ago.
  11. Yes, but I don't give a flying fuck anymore now that I just seen that three people got their throat slit by yet another islamist terrorist this morning. A beheaded teacher the other week, now this, and probably more to come, sorry if I don't feel in the mood anymore to play around with you on the board. But since you mention it, saying that "People in the Middle East go wild on a bare ankle because porn is banned" is dumb as fuck. They use VPN. But whatever, I *really* don't care about any of this at this point. Things are really too depressing IRL to be bothered by this. Have fun.
  12. (EDIT : bigger fish to fry than to expose a goof on a pro-wrestling board. Lockdown + people getting beheaded/getting theirs throats slit by religious zealots seemingly every week now = me not in the mood anymore)
  13. Don't tempt the old WCW fan in me... Plus, lockdown only begins Friday, and I have to get up early tomorrow to BUY AN XBOX AS SOON AS FUCKING POSSIBLE BEFORE I CAN'T LEAVE MY PLACE ANYMORE AND ALL NON-ESSENTIAL BUSINESS GET CLOSED !
  14. Interesting numbers indeed. But... Yeah, that's pretty much my experience too. Also, tons of people are not really active on FB anymore but keep it to be able to use Messenger, which is what I was doing until recently, where I basically shutdown my FB account for good. Good ole counter-programming !
  15. ...for boomers. Which is WWE's audience basically, so, oh well.
  16. Who knows, with Harold Meij gone... (yeah, I don't believe it for a second either). I mean, they really should realize this company has nothing to do with the one who made Okada dress up like Robin and get tortured by the Pope. Honestly, they could send a young boy in excursion in IMPACT today and he sure would be treated very well (of course they could send a young boy to NXT too, and he would get COVID and probably break a bone and tear a muscle...)
  17. Speaking of Gedo, Rocky Romero plugging NJPW Worlds on the Special Talkn Shop full Keg show last week was kinda cute. Of course it means exactly nothing, but still, Rocky was on an IMPACT affiliated show plugging NJPW. So 2020 too.
  18. Callis is probably one of the smarter guy in pro-wrestling. And D'Amore was the one who booked TNA's best years in the 00's. Their revamping of the promotion working with limites ressources has been nothing short of spectacular. It has became kind of the mad scientists lab of pro-wrestling, while being the most consistent and well booked product this side of Gedo.
  19. I never said there was not any tension nor incident. But it was blown the fuck out of proportion by SRS, whoever the fuck he is, and yourself on Twitter and this board, which is basically bullshit. As far as Ivelisse goes, well, she's been steadily booked and pushed by AEW as a team with Diamanté for a while now, so there. Thunder Rosa saying "No comment" doesn't confirm jack shit apart from the fact, that yes, there was some tension and uncooperative stuff *at one point* during the match. The whole melodrama about it was completely ridiculous. (and for the record, I'm as much if not more of a Thunder Rosa fan) Anyway, I expected that kind of answer. You've been exposed a long while ago as far as I'm concerned. You're on my ignore list from now on anyway. Like I said, I don't need to read some bullshit on this board, especially these days.
  20. LOCKDOWN !!!! Yeah, I know, but this is the IMPACT thread (and this was a classic TNA PPV), and here we go again in France until at least December 1. So yeah, will need more silly shit from IMPACT.
  21. You know what gimmick match will never ever happen at a Takeover ? mask vs mask
  22. I do think Kylie would have won the belt from Deonna eventually, maybe on the next PPV but it was coming for sure. I'm pretty sure Deonna will win the title back sooner than later now though, she's the perfect character/worker for a long-ass reign.
  23. THIS ! She'll probably get it back. It made sense for Su-Yung to take Kylie's place in storyline too, and since Deonna was supposed to lose here, all is well for now. Speaking of Deonna, she did an excellent interview with Meltzer last week and one fascinating tidbit in term of how much of a pattern there is in WWE/NX, she told that for 18 months she tried to explain the Virtuosa character to the NXT people and they never got it and never even wanted to let her try. I mean, these people are downright dense and/or dumb. What is there to *not get* about the Virtuosa character ? Technical wrestler extraordinaire who thinks she's better than anyone else and fancies herself as a virtuose fighter. And as soon as she met the IMPACT people (thanks to her friend Madison Rayne) she pitched it and they said OK, produced the vignettes and pushed her, letting do her thing. Science rocket people...
  24. First think I think about is Tracey dancing to that Bee Gees remix song and it was hilarious. He was an amazing pro-wrestler, a legit great, great worker. Legend also tells that during an incident involving whoever in ECW (New Jack or Sandman probably) and cops showed up with K9s, Tracey got his fists up and was shadow boxing the damn dogs, ready to fight. Tracey Smothers ladies and gentlemen.
  25. Yeah, that stuff has been so odd. Hey, at least I learned the very existence of that QAnon shit (great heel stable name though) because of it. Not sure I needed to learn the existence of this stuff though, I'm already getting way too depressed by the stupidity of human beings right now.... Maybe she can reclaim her belt from Deeb on AEW TV that way. Not seen losing, only seen winning. Dunno. I really hope she goes to AEW though, she's terrific and they really need workers like her (who can work and who carries themselves as stars) now on the division.
