I agree that in this game world, injuries, retirements, and deaths should be determined by random rolls. This world deviates from the real one in July of 1983 meaning that anything that happens up until that point is the same as in real life, but anything after should be completely up in the air.

I assume it stands. They figured out that Fuller was wrestling shortly after July 1983. He's Southeastern anyway, let him take both. -
I don't mean to hijack your company's thread, but isn't it Rougeau? I wasn't aware there was a variant of the spelling.

Somewhat surprised he made it this far, especially considering his potential in this era... Jim Crockett Promotions selects... "Dr. D" David Shultz

Roberts was a possible next pick for me, luckily he was just part of an internal debate regarding 4-5 guys that could the role I'm looking for. Makes it a bit easier, but hope the others last. -
There's a hidden section on the network for interstitials. It includes a new Daniel Bryan Watch List where he lists his five favorite things on the network. Seems promising if they continue to ask talent for recommendations. http://network.wwe.com/shows/pay_per_views/network_interstitials

What a swerve. Never would have believed it. -
A vote for the future. A vote for Ric Flair to be the next NWA World Champ.

Jim Crockett Jr. is proud to announce a talent agreement between JCP and CWF. Mid-Atlantic fans, get ready to see some old Flair feuds rekindled as Dusty Rhodes and Roddy Piper among others may show up at any time.

I can't help but imagine WWF being run by Littlefinger from Game Of Thrones. Or more accurately, Vincent K. McMahon

Yeah I've got a list of about 4-5 guys who would be acceptable to fill my next role I'm looking for. I don't imagine they all will be gone, but the long gap between my 2nd and 3rd picks is disheartening. -

I'm OK with whatever you guys want to do. Only time I don't check this while I'm sleeping EST. I pull my phone out fairly regularly at work so even that's not a problem. Maybe people should start using sending short lists to other participants who then can draft for them. Specific directions in case of surprise draft picks being taken off the board. I'm finding this extremely fun to check and I'm getting excited for what's to come. -
Well if we go by 1983, wouldn't Central States be President, JCP 1st VP, and GCW 2nd VP ?

If we do a NWA-wide Starrcade on Thanksgiving, I'll take Andre on Christmas Day instead if that's possible. Flair going to a broadway in New York is great.

My #1 was going to be Piper as well. Gordy was my top pick for #2 so that ended up working out well anyway. -
If no one has asked for Andre on US Thanksgiving, I'd love to have him. I don't want Flair to do the 3-match loop though with a loss. Gordy maybe. Flair is a different story.

I thought we were going with one name as the owner, that's why WWC had to use Colon as their save and didn't automatically get them. Shouldn't Jones or Ward be the owner and Ole up for grabs?

I'm deciding on picks by type of wrestler, meaning that I'm looking to fill various slots. Once I decided I wanted a "rebel" foil for Flair and a big guy for my first two picks, it was obvious I should grab the Hayes and Gordy. Roberts didn't factor into my top 15 positions or so, so it was better to just leave him behind rather than not be able to pick for an extra round. I literally could not believe they made it to number 11. I thought KrisZ would at the very least grab them, so thanks for taking "The Natural" instead. -
David Crockett steps up to the microphone and can barely contain himself. "With the 1st pick.....with the 11th pick of the Fantasy Draft, Jim Crockett Promotions is excited to announce that our very first pick.....I mean our very first two picks are going to be on...... *Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd begins to play* "I still can't believe it....! Michael Hayes and Terry Gordy, the Fabulous Freebirds! Come on down! Mysteriously lacking Buddy Roberts, Hayes and Gordy stroll up to the stage. Hayes - "All I want to say is that we keep hearing about how we're about to enter "Flair Country". While that may be true now, I think old Ricky boy may have just run out of luck. The Fabulous Freebirds are here.....and we're taking over." Gordy slams his fist down on the podium and stares at the camera with an unnerving grin on his face. Hayes utters a big "Whooooo!" - Buddy Roberts is NOT included in this pick.
