TNA finally sends Jeff Hardy home after ruining PPV main event
Strummer replied to Bix's topic in Megathread archive
Could another reason Hall was not fired or even reprimanded be that he was dating the daughter of a Turner executive at the time of his most embarrassing incidents? -
Things I learned by listening to Dave Lagana's podcasts.

Punk is constantly taking shots at creative on Twitter so that one makes sense. Dude is even doing it while he's being pushed (yes I know that it a debatable term n this situation) -
Effective April 7 Shame since it had tons of good wrestling. I don't get WGA but I used to catch it online quite often. Hopefully they air it on the website or find another station

Cybil story is the best great job Bix

Hogan was absolutely hilarious in this feud. I don't think he meant to be but his mannerisms and selling had me rolling at the time. Everyone else was pretty terrible (especially Bischoff)
-
saw it at tsm where they saw it from some NEWZ board stuff I guess looks like it's bullshit. but Rey and the company are still having problems and Mistico is being brought in so Rey's future with the company will be interesting (I guess we can talk about his future in this thread)
-
yeah I felt hesitant to post but decided to anyway I'm pretty sure problems exist even if not related to this situation
-
Apparently Rey has asked for his release from WWE following Mania but the WWE is unwilling to do so at this time. Also, Rey is in "bad shape" which we all know is wrestler code for a lot deeper "problems" and "demons". This could get ugly soon.

Looking stuff up on her I had no idea that Jillian(Hall) had a previous marriage and already had a daughter. I guess she wanted to keep it quiet because "divas" aren't supposed to have offspring or something I would assume this was pre radical plastic surgery -

terrible news. Jillian Hall went into labor at 14 weeks and lost her baby tonight. -
OMG did Dave and Bryan really think that Herschel Walker got a great reaction at RAW in Dallas because of his MMA stuff. A dude that was a RB for the Cowboys and when traded to the Vikings led to a Dallas dynasty. MMA bubble

yeah Sunny was more over than her push would have indicated. Hate to repeat but she just missed out by a year or so of hitting it big time. She came in during the dark years where no one really had a chance. Her drug use and her Cornette taught willingness to speak up if she thought something was stupid (which Sable never did) sealed her fate and generally the WWF at the time struggled with how to use woman in non wrestling roles because they still were kinda family entertainment and didn't want to go too far

Punk just took a slight jab at creative It's embarrassing that WWE writers don't have @ZackRyder on raw more. They're dropping the ball. Go watch his YouTube videos. ENTERTAINMENT he was also getting subtle jabs at them when he was doing press for that Raw in Chicago. Don't want this man to be buried. -

anyone paying attention to Bret on twitter? He's killing me. Calling Hogan a dickhead, linking the EL Dandy promo from Nitro in 1999 (calling it his favorite WCW moment) and making a Benoit joke. Jesus Bret why couldn't you be this funny during your career -
is this the kid who looks like a cross between Paul from the Wonder Years and Jamison? He was great

in the mid/late 90s there was this girl who attended a bunch of WWF and ECW cards. She was probably in her late teens/early 20s and had rather longish red hair and always had a camera around her neck. She often went to shows with the short baldish chubby guy who was always on the hard camera on ECW TV. She always used to root for Shane Douglas and Shawn Michaels. Her reaction to Shawn getting pinned by Sid at Survivor Series 96 is classic Vladimir of course Roddy Hogan I believe his name is attended a ton of WCW shows during the MNW and has been at a few RAWs at Backlash 99 a whole row of guys move back and forth in sync with Gangrel's theme music. It's quite awesome. there was a rather attractive blonde with curly type hair who wore a ton of make up who used to always be shown when Shawn would dance around or make his entrance. I believe he even kissed her once at a show (his girlfriend?) She's shown at IYH 3 versus Jarrett and a few others. there was an older woman, maybe in her late 40s/early 50s, who attended a lot of WWF shows in the mid 90s who always wore sequin gowns and long gloves. She's near the front at WM 12 and is also at Royal Rumble 95. I always thought that was strange attire for a wrestling show Rossati sisters

Duggan's WWF career started off nice with a fun Harley Race program and the Andre program featured one memorable angle and the two doing good business headlining the B shows. But man everything post 88 is pretty much unwatchable other than maybe his famous squash job to Yokozuna. I approve of Tammy Sytch returning to WWE programming. In Tammy's shoot she mentioned that her and Vince still talk all the time so maybe she wouldn't be made fun of on TV

I remember Percy Pringle saying how beloved Miranda was backstage by everyone. He was the head of WWE merchandise. Miranda died in 2002

I'm kind of interested to see Trish in a PG setting. Not just because of her outfits but also because they always had her do promos filled with sexual innuendos and double entendres. Apparently they had her do a straight wrestling promo tonight and it didn't go too well
-
oh man I forgot about the Marlena/Sable lesbian angle I think they only did that one bit on RAW where Marlena was winking at her. I don't think it went any further than that and they were persistent in trying to get Rena Mero to do lesbian storylines, weren''t they? This was the first of many

well looks like Trish will be wrestling at mania to help promote Tough Enough I guess they want to push Kelly Kelly by giving her the rub by teaming with Trish

[1996-12-29-WCW-Starrcade '96] Hulk Hogan vs Roddy Piper
Strummer replied to Loss's topic in December 1996
I'm probably missing the details but I love at the start of the match Tony sets the atmosphere and puts over the aura of the encounter and then Dusty follows up by basically repeating what Tony just said. Then Dusty dead pans "You jus said dat didn't ya?" That had me rolling at the time edit: Yes! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXhV1n5XTgg about 2:45 in. Still kills me.- 18 replies

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2ApH5c8kr4...feature=related I don't know if it tops pre show Bash at the Beach 95 but this is pretty much one of the best things ever in wrestling
