Can I have some timeline help? I always thought that Ross got canned due to his initial flare up in 94, but Wiki said his contract lapsed and wasn't renewed two weeks the flare up. I can't find anything in the WON at this time, except for at the very end of February where Dave mentioned that Ross would be replaced by Monsoon and Stan Lane on Challenge due to the Palsy, with nothing about his contractual situation. Then, in March, Dave said that the contract wouldn't be renewed at the end of March. Which is accurate? Was he not renewed before the flare up happened or was he not renewed only after it happened? He was hired back during the steroid trial for two months only because that's how long they figured Vince would be busy for it. Can someone clarify this?

Martin, Kelly, and I are on a fairly similar wavelength (if I can be bold enough to say, though no one's quite as crazy as me), so if Charles is going to aim things in my direction, we'd be okay with that. For everyone else, it might just serve as a good jumping off point.

Austin leaving in 02 is frustrating. I hadn't looked at those results for a long time, but he was basically set up to be in a bunch of matches with Eddy and Benoit, with Arn liberally interfering during a few matches with Flair here too. Once he left the Benoit/Flair/Eddie/Arn situation never came to be as they hotshotted Flair into babyfacehood.

My only stopping point is that I don't feel confident starting til January or at least December, but if you two are okay with that, I'm more than happy to work through it with you guys. We're not always on the same page but we do speak the same language, I think. Charles can be our guide.

I'm a huge fan of Bonema, but I sort of agree with Dave that he really would have only worked in Portland. There was such a cozy, familiar, local feel to Portland between the sponsors who you knew as well as the wrestlers and Sandy Barr's flea market.

It does hurt when you're using that as a crutch, instead of elevating other people into that spot. That's a valid point. It's not that there isn't an upside to Show in that position, but it's probably less than the upside to putting someone else there.

I don't disagree with you. I just don't think there's anyone more reviled than Dunn except for Russo when it comes to wrestling fandom, which probably makes him an argument that would be more of a headache than it's worth for Dave to make.

Is it the entire point of this site that someone can argue exactly that and if they do it well enough, they will be listened to and respected even if they don't sway you.

I'm mostly kidding. I'll obviously watch whatever I feel like I need to and fill in holes. That said I will probably go to certain people for advice on certain areas because even with a few years leadtime I have to be smart with my time.

Do people think that either Sting or Taker would be willing to do the job in a match between them? Sting's the sort of guy that i think would do business, but for his "One Big WWE Match," it seems sort of weird to bring him in to lose.

I still see Cena winning at NoC so I'll chip in on that sort of thing after we see if Brock is even in the title picture.

Wrestling is magic. But I sure wish Negro Casas would strip falling for Rush's direction change clothesline. One of the reasons I'm so high on Christian is that he would constantly evolve his stuff in rematches and what not.

It doesn't hurt that he's maybe the easiest guy in the history of wrestling to heat back up and be instantly credible with a huge chunk of the audience and he's also one of the best wrestlers on the roster.
