Isn't part of the deal that Vince legitimately sees Hardy as a star in a way he doesn't a lot of the guys on the current roster?
-
They could probably get away with Kofi vs Bryan at Mania. Though they sort of did almost everything they could do in ring (with Kofi) here.
-
I'd argue that them doing something like that now and again sort of helps everything not seem so overproduced.
-
Bryan has to be loving it.

Kids are down so I'm just tuning in ~10 mins ago. This has to be ending relatively soon just from the ebb and flow. How is there so much time left on this? Is there a Rollins thing I don't know about or something?
-
I kind of believe the lights will go out and Bray will show up or something. That's about the company's speed.

re: Flair vs Valentine. I have no idea whether we had this or not, but the angle leading up to this series sounds pretty cool. http://www.midatlanticgateway.com/2016/08/dream-team-part-6.html http://www.midatlanticgateway.com/2016/08/dream-team-part-7.html There's audio on those two pages. Reference for the second page: The 60 minute draw between the two was 5/25. The promo is 5/28. The Valentine swerve came on 6/8. The match is 7/17.

Plus however long he did commentary too, no?

Thanks to you guys, I've listened to the WWE signing and first year episode and now am mostly through the AWA one. I haven't loved the specific PPV episodes (there just isn't enough bang for your buck in those) but the more general thematic ones are pretty good. I'll probably listen to the Mean Gene tribute before going somewhere else (like trying to get back to the Fuller podcast).

Hopefully we get a Morales collection.

Ladd's great. We covered that this week. http://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2019/02/new-footage-friday-johnny-smith-miracle.html?m=1

WWE T.V 1/21 - 1/27. The last gasp to the Royal Rumble

Obviously, no one is going to book Ray Stevens because I ranted about the consistently disappointing footage we had of him on SC a few weeks ago. Poor guy. -
The Bill Watts of social media.

Did she not help them get the giant tv deals? -
@JRGoldman went to a few. It was real and nuts. I was really, really close to going to what I think was the last one to see Atlantis but everyone got sick at home. It turned out I made the right call because they had failed to get them properly cleared or something. It was a big disaster and I don't think they've done any more.

I love the story about how Kendrick and London were getting a tour of Titan Towers during their run and bumped into Shane who told them that the last time tag team wrestling mattered was when the LOD was in the company. (or something like that) Here we go:

To slightly amend, I'll say that with the first baby, I was able to watch a bunch of stuff. She took forever to get to bed so I'd lay next to the crib with my tablet and watch cubsfan's youtube channel and that's how I ended up really getting into lucha. With a 6 year old and a 1 year old, however, forget it.

As the pressure is starting to build, I will say that the most frustrating time to be a wrestling fan for me as a guy in his late 30s with multiple kids (some very young), no local support structure, and a full time job is Wrestlemania weekend. Obviously travel is completely out of the picture. MAYBE In a few years when the kids get older, but right now I'd be putting way too much pressure on my wife (and over what? Wrestling?). But it's ballooned to this massive, overwhelming thing. I feel like you get, in one weekend, what you'd get in six months twenty years ago, just for the amount of stuff to watch and keep track of. And yeah, to "be a part of." On top of that, so much of it isn't really to my taste anyway, so then you're sort of feeling left out for weeks if not months (I get that I'm trying to say it's both ways but it sort of is). The SCI is a little like that too, on a smaller level. It's not a huge deal or anything, but I kind of which I could just avoid the internet for a few weeks and pop back up to livegripe Wrestlemania with you guys, which is, ironically, one of my favorite wrestling things of the year..

HC, We found this not long ago and it's a blast.

I honestly, 100% believe that with the corner they backed themselves into this year (through things their fault and things not their fault), the best Raw main event they can possibly put on is a Brock vs Rollins vs Braun vs Balor match. -

Big Show/Rock/HHH/Foley is one of the biggest matches of its eras? Kane/UT/Austin was pretty big. You could argue that Shamrock/Mankind/Rock helped drive that PPV too. DPP vs Hogan vs Sting vs Flair maybe? -
Because the Nia moment, which they felt was a big deal, couldn't have happened otherwise. Talk about misjudging things, overvaluing a canned moment and undervaluing an actual one.
