Why is the default stance on this forum defensive man-child? I am sorry that the idea that product knowledge is useful towards the process of understanding something brings people so pain and anguish. Again I thought this forum was all about deep dives and higher-end discussion? Few attitudes in this thread jive with that.

Stopped reading here. No one has said this is required. In actuality, I've expressly stated the opposite. You are just trolling at this stage. Could have watched every BTE episode in the between when you first started this thread and now. And with days to spare.

The grind is real. Looking forward to NXT UK going to one episode a week as soon it catches to up to more current and IMPACT moving to Fridays. As midweek on the 2018 schedule was like Mount Everest. Largely I don't know why I beat myself up over watching modern TV Wrestling ASAP as much as I do as no one else really seems to do it besides giffers, internet reviewers and a handful of fans. A lot of my peers just watch WWE PPVs in full and watch hyped Raw and Smackdown segments on Youtube and that's it. They are probably the most sensible ones of us all. WWE's main roster in-ring product is so formula that a deft gif account Twitter that points out all the interesting pre and post-match stuff is all you need in order to watch the product as everything else is how you'd expect it be move for move.

Their all-encompassing Lucha Underground contract that still has several years on it trumps anything the Lucha Bros might blindly or unthinkingly sign. It is a situation out of the music industry more than the Pro Wrestling industry. IMPACT is livid with them for the news they are seemingly leaving getting out before the PPV. MLW has a commitment with then for the whole of 2019.

No one is reacting as such. Need more on the Bubba story.

The last PPV revealed Abyss as extremely limited/hobbled. I admire your optimism. Been told IMPACT will have Tessa and Gail headline a PPV in 2019. LAX are slayers. Their developmental in Beyond Wrestling is one of my favorite things in the most recent years indie years. I don't think the Lucha Brothers are long for IMPACT. IMPACT has a legacy overwhelming fan pessimism behind it but their PPVs are typically fun to great and feel live live in ways overly produced and honed WWE PPVs don't. Just hope the PPV wasn't overshadowed by WrestleKingdom and the channel/timeslot change/downgrade next week.

You are next to 5,000 posts on here so you are a pretty prominent. No idea how am being a cunt for asking people to have basic product knowledge to be able to be conversant about BTE/AEW. That suggestion has only been met with the completely irrational idea you must watch EVERYTHING on their Youtube channel when no one in this thread has suggested this. I am not the one with inferiority complex. Re-read your own posts. Will never understand this aggressive resistance to a series that has already changed the business in several ways. And I wouldn't that big of an Elite booster or defender. I am the first person to give Bix shit when warranted. It is like you've got the wrong idea and is grossly out of touch.

Handbags, Johnny. Again. I don't understand a prominent poster here using the whole shut-in thing on this forum of all forums. I have a prominent sense of humor and I am pretty centered. So I've no idea where you personal attacks come from. Anyway Being The Elite is plotted out in a way you comedically think/thought WWE is. I recommend it check it out.

Shane Haste isn't long for NXT. Glad Nikki Cross got her due. If you sit down and think about it she's in the elite in terms the most popular NXT characters ever. Her entrance pops were really insane. A total role model if you are a male or female indie wrestler in terms of hard work, conduct, and commitment to character.

Sportskeeda is one of the lowest tier news sources They've drawn over 10,000 fans and got it Hot Topic based on it. I agree that watching it isn't an absolute necessity. But a lot of the poster here probably would benefit from it. What's a Youtube? /posters here Again this countless of hours hang up you are peddling just is closed mindedness and an excuse. I thought this was deep dive the forum? I am replying to posts as I see them. Will take you calling me a dum dum as complement given listening to you on podcasts and the most bizarre theories not remotely rooted in reality.
-
I am totally on board with you. Some common sense. Being The Elite has become much, much more of a business driver than ROH's own TV show. And it ain't close. I don't understand this resistance. BTE is just 15 minutes or so of your time weekly-ishly. I don't want to be seen as confrontational. But a lot of this thread is like explaining all this to my father or something. Youtube? What's that. Social media? What's that. Fan culture? What's that. People going to WWE don't tend to talk about it or feed the press this kinda stuff. Meltzer is being Omega's PR agent for another year in a row.

The bizarre fan fiction you've just written reflects more on you that it does me. As is shaming someone for being big into Pro Wrestling on this forum of all forums.
-
Was never on the rails despite my efforts. Have you followed Being The Elite? If so who is your favorite character? Personally, it WAS poor Flip Gordon for me.
-
It is and what are your thoughts on AEW and Being The Elite. And who is your favorite character? You know what this thread is actually about.
-
I legit quit PWInsider as a member as it was relentless Scherer impressions of you, Dixie Carter and Bill Apter. But the great and the good from or visiting this region has puked in my toilet. I should auction it off tbh. No idea what this has to do with AEW tho.
-
I wear a Green Lantern shirt and remain genuinely hated by wrestlers until this very day. Also, I am routinely made fun of by Dave Scherer on his podcast.
-
Do you carry a stopwatch, Green Lantern Fan?
-
As you don't talk post/talk about a huge bounty. Was honestly hoping y'all save would save from back to back Baron von Raschke vs Steve Regal and Jim Brunzell vs. Mr. Saito matches. Nah I don't buy you/most posters here. Yes, I've touched wrestlers. Real ones. I know that may shock and awe.
-
Paul, you seem to live in another realm/decade with respect. You don't have to pump iron at Venice Beach to befriend wrestlers in 2019. Yes, I've had wrestlers at my home and have been on benders with them. It is pretty standard in the UK/Ireland scene. Again I've no idea what this has to do with AEW beyond the fact the gap - actual or perceived gap between wrestler and fan has never been narrower. Apparently, that's a sudden newsflash on here. I wish you all employed this energy watching the Christmas WWE Hidden Gems - which I watched in full or the Deonna/Eagles classic SHIMMER match that dropped this or Tozawa/Gulak on 205 Live.

Paid off my first house last year.
-
I still like you Phil and you should do nths more podcasts than you do or can do. The Segunda Caida podcast was the gold standard. I don't understand the hissy fits here over suggesting people watch an ongoing series to understand that ongoing series. Seems like common sense to me.
-
Other accounts have told me that Meltzer is sitting in on that meeting.
-
The only nonsense is insisting you can follow along with AEW at this current moment in time without watching Being The Elite. You know the Youtube show that lead to them drawing 10,000 fans.
-
SomethingSavage you are the one taking this too seriously. Pro Wrestling is a distraction and humorous lark. Again no idea what this has to do with AEW you could have caught up on Being The Elite instead. Maximize your limited time.
