  1. I honestly like Dream. But he has yet to graduate from being carried to being able to carry people. He needs a lot more time.
  2. Stopped reading here. It is far from being all over the place. Wrestlemania is in WWE's traditional home base of New York in April. Vince's focus will change in 2019 to the XFL. He's 73. Wrestlemania probably isn't coming back to New York for another 5 or so years. If there's a time to do a full McMahon TV return it is this Spring. The XFL isn't a 24/7 Twitter thing. It is a major startup sports franchise covered by the mainstream press this week. Pick up a newspaper or watch the news. Write more paragraphs pretending not to get something so basic as that and not apologising for being a dick for no reason.
  3. Yes, it does. This Spring is likely the last opportunity to do a full McMahon return if ever. XFL is launching in 2020 not 2019. Why are you being this dense?
  4. Seriously were you drinking here?
  5. Pretty cool. Glad someone is. Sadly a lot of the early info/thoughts have been lost to cyberspace.
  6. I think so. Wrestlemania is in New York and Vince will be flouncing off to do the XFL soon enough and he's 73 years old.
  7. Wow, this thread got hard to read. For the record the Lars stuff wasn't just 10 years ago it runs between 10 years and a few months before he signed NXT.
  8. Current day WWE signed THAT deal with Saudi and is hiding/mitigating "old guard" executives.
  9. Yep. This isn't an attack on posters here. It is more of a "this is the hobby we chose" thing. Most wrestlers lionized here were bigots and are certainly bigots by 2018 standards. Personally, I've never expected people in combat sports to be upstanding people. Pro Wrestling is built to be a place for outsiders and flawed people. Fake fighting in your underpants for the adulation for a crowd etc.
  10. There are bigoted executives in WWE as well documented. Which seems to inform WWE's stance on situations like this and their preference to manage the situation rather than firing someone and opening up the question from the media or fans of "what about Michael Hayes" etc.
  11. I wouldn't tolerate it personally. But I will say he has spent the last four years or so at the Performance Center which is very multi-cultural and with a women's roster that has exploded in that time. Closed monitored by the Coaches there. Everyone from Balor, Owens, Oney to Sasha Banks have put him over on Twitter. I know his thoughts come from a deeply rooted place but maybe he's matured and changed since?
  12. WWE haven’t reacted publicly yet. Personally, no one has contacted me about it. Which is wildly different to when Jessica Havok, Aliyah etc had similar issues. So I don’t think too much will come of it. Him being a former edgelord troll is pretty well known before all this. Would be shocked if WWE didn’t know about it and it didn’t come up in their background check of him. Lars benefits from it being dredged up during Thanksgiving and heading into the weekend. Given how the news cycle works the World will probably have moved on by Monday. Lars also probably benefits from being this otherworldly goofy “freak”. Maybe WWE writes this off as him being a doofus? WWE/NXT likes projects and fixing them. I guess the open of business Monday and Raw will tell the tail about his future with WWE.
  13. The finishes would be set by this stage going by past history. Delirious does book long-term and rigidly stick to plans. You are assigning the possibility of a caring and vision to ROH and Delirious they've never have displayed.
  14. No, they are genuinely leaving ROH and likely "go dark" until this mystery new promotion stars in mid-2019. Not saying won't take a booking here or there. But publicly and private there's no indication of them doing much in the Spring. Currently not on the MSG card or doing Wrestlecon. Don't ask me about New Japan though.
  15. What background does Lawler have training people? Also him training women or relating to women seems like a shit show. Coach Serena Deeb throws great punches.
  16. I know a lot of wrestlers who have wrestled Nia and they've all said she's dangerous. One prominent Wrestler trainer of men and women went off about her to me. Everyone he has trained gave him extremely negative feedback about Nia. I don't think Nia is a sociopath just really self-obsessed.
  17. She has hurt people several times in NXT and WWE. For transparency sake including a number of my friends. This isn't a one-off. PWO is meant to be one of the smarter, more analytical forums. Her offence looks like shit and looks like shit to take. Until late Monday WWE management claimed to be in the dark about it all. A whole bunch of people privately came forward. Lana and Dana Brooke on social media denied any involvement in the situation after fans attacking them. I do believe NIa is a rotten person well aware of her ties with the Rock, WWE's want to push a plus sized girl and being three times the size of those who she wrestles. Her Twitter is the worst. Only cares about sexism and fat shaming for her own self-benefit. A hard accusation to level but I don't think is actually cares about another person.
  18. Money In The Bank but yeah. Becky in the last year has been through a lot of personal stuff, "worked on herself" and put a few ghosts to bed about her past relating to the circumstances around her retirement and the guilt as she carried around it. She has only talked about it in her most recent interviews. Back in the day she even went to bereavement counselling about leaving Wrestling it was really extreme. Her mother was really against her Wrestling from the beginning and doubly so when she suffered an eye/head injury in 2006 - someone basically untrained landed on her head completely flat when Becky gave her a German Suplex. Becky at the time was doing competitive bodybuilding and was really emaciated leaving the nerve endings in her head more exposed and really weak in general as she lost so much weight. Doing the media rounds before Evolution she finally opened up publicly to Nina Strauss about battling bulimia over the years.
  19. Nailed it, Migs. I probably enjoy NXT TV more but likely couldn't watch two episodes and the extra Youtube bits back to back.
  20. Both New Yorkers and Taz had a strong promo delivery at the time.
  21. Look for Daniel Bryan to wrestle on Crown Jewel but not go to Saudi.

    NXT talk

Yep. I can't understand why people always think NXT has Sara tethered in the basement of the Performance Center Yes. If you ever talk to people at NXT they will tell you that the Coaches are very overworked. And it has always been the case in WWE developmental that the office is against coach double jobbing. But in Sara's case as she said on Twitter this weekend she really doesn’t like attention. Watch how awkward she looks when on camera these days. Before NXT she told friends if WWE passed on her then it would be her last year wrestling on the indies. As she fell out of loving performing publicly. Much like her travel partner Daizee Haze.
  23. Robbie very well connected and honest.
  24. You kind of answered your own question, Memphis Mark. Delirious lives in 10 years ago - Sumie Sakai being WOH Champion for example. Joe Koff views him as a son and won't replace him. Departure wise obviously money and the need to further career progression comes into it. Especially when wrestlers start a family. But Delirious is notoriously hard to get a hold of even during shows due to his personal habits which just leads to low talent morale especially when the booking sucks.
  25. Wait for Meltzer and Mike Johnson but I was told: That the SEScoop story is "65% false" and "very premature". Jim Ross is telling people he'll only be an announcer. I assume in his usual announcer for hire role. The promotion will likely be located in Las Vegas. WWE is taking it seriously and a lot of people's price tag just went up. ------- Personally, I think the Elite leaked the story to increase their bargaining power ahead of their contract negotiations.
