I know the talent was told "January 2020" on the new Network in a meeting about two months ago. The new Network is really a state secret. I couldn't get details out of anyone. I assume Non Disclosure Agreements were signed and the upgrade in Network is real. AEW signed IMPACT's live event booker recently and that role hasn't been filled yet. I don't think they are taking time off.

I've never heard anyone who has dealt with him describe Tony as dumb quite the opposite. His major fault is his temper and rich kid entitlement. AEW is on a tremendous wave of momentum so it hasn't been displayed yet.

Independently I heard the six man was wild and has an extended post match brawl.

Does anyone have any insight as to why? Dusty was a big star and had an ego but I was surprised Lar wasn't protected more. Dusty's pre-match promo was really silly and fun. The heat and execution for the finish of the Roberts/Garvin match was good stuff.

Bully & Co. really don't get ROH and what ROH was built on - pleasing fans and no BS. But I think the real reason why tensions were so fraught was that attendance for that weekend of shows stunk so bad.

I really get you. But there's a lot of burgeoning talents not being listened or properly attended to. Whether by larger class sizes or politics. The Dusty Rhodes era really was glory period and NXT has never really recovered. Morale and path to success wise.

In contrast, WWE didn't tell the state of New Jersey how long Wrestlemania would run this year. So their most loyal and high paying fans after the show were left in the rain for hours without sufficient levels of public transport to service them.

I agree but in the last 1-2 years, NXT signed too much talent that can be serviced or can be kept happy by a one hour TV show and WWE's rate of main roster call ups. And that's if the call ups were booked remotely to their potential on the main roster which they are not.

A hiatus. DVD is a dead format and there are a million Wrestling podcasts/Youtube channels. Sean is looking for the next remotely lucrative business model.

Even if you are the most backward fuddy-duddy you have to acknowledge Sonny is really effective and over. Owns every room he enters. As a "gimmick" he's a very talented wrestler. He's not a quota filler. I would have cut a lot of the battle royal field over him.

I get whole being jaded/beaten down by PC culture thing but Aubrey Edwards is actually the best or one of the best referees regardless of gender. A lot of the posters here are very astute fans. My advice is just and make up your own mind. She has quick reflexes in terms of getting up and down off the mat to make counts and general troubleshooting and not taking any bullshit from the heel. Several AEW roster members/touring indie stars have told me Aubrey is the best referee they deal with.
