Loss Posted December 21, 2010 Author Report Posted December 21, 2010 This is the nastiest and most heavy-handed of all the skits, with Billionaire Ted bragging about all the companies he has put out of business, and singing the praises of capitalism and a handful of billionaires running society. Complaints are made against him systematically putting every marketplace competitor out of business with predatory business practices. Yes, the WWF ran this skit. Where do we begin?
Kronos Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 How about the ending, where they encourage people to write to the chairman of the FTC to stop Ted's predatory merger? I kind of like the FEW GOOD MEN parody, but it's pretty shameful for Vince to run this sketch.
PeteF3 Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 The "FTC" speaking through the WWF accuses Ted of trying to CREATE A MONOPOLY. Incredible. They're not even trying to make jokes now, as Ted cuts a full-blown heel promo right outside of A Few Good Men.
soup23 Posted February 20, 2015 Report Posted February 20, 2015 After a decent satire act last week, we are back to miserable, hateful stuff this week that I despise.
tim Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 Vince McMahon ends up becoming everything he parodies Turner as here.
JKWebb Posted May 28, 2020 Report Posted May 28, 2020 I despise this too. This stuff is so dumb... lame... whatever... I would think pretty embarrassing...
dawho5 Posted November 22, 2024 Report Posted November 22, 2024 Two things: 1. The merger in fact killed any power Ted had. 2. Didn't Vince just become a prophet of his own future, but as his hated rival?
