Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Cornette finds a discreet location and tries to introduce his new tag team again. This time, more women find them and hijack the limo. Bob Caudle is growing impatient, but Cornette says he has another idea on how to unveil them next week. Cox
I enjoyed all of these and they were a great way to introduce Cornette's team by making him more and more irritating every week.
MikeCampbell
Cornette lays it on nice and thick, comparing his team to Madonna and the Beatles. And it's Phil Rainey's fault for leaking the location so he could leach off the girls.
WingedEagle
This time Jim's team arrives in a limo, but once again those damn groupies chase it off before we can see them.
PeteF3
Another secret location, another spoiled surprise. This debut was built up to quite well.
xlynwoodx
Every Cornette segment begins with him insulting the audience. A limo pulls up and some girls run down and chase it off. I'm so amused by the absurdity of all of this.
GSR
Bob Caudle hopes we'll have better luck this week finding out about Cornette's mystery team. Phil Rainey is in a discrete location where Cornette has promised to reveal the identity of his new tag team. He shows up and tells Rainey to keep his voice down because they can't let anyone know what they're doing as any time these guys are seen in public it's complete chaos. He says that they should be here any minute and then a limo approaches in which Cornette declare, here are the greatest tag team in the universe, the next SMW tag team champions and that he's spent an arm and a leg to make sure that no-one knows they are here. As the limo stops a hoard of women show up from nowhere surrounding the car and it drives off. Cornette says that Rainey has blown it again and spilled the beans because he wants his men's cast offs. Claims that next week he'll take the cameras to the stars in a very private location as you can't bring stars to a hillbilly location like this and not expect it to cause trouble. Another funny segment heightening the anticipation of the debut of the Heavenly Bodies.
garretta
So Corny wants to keep things secret regarding his team, and then he wears the brightest red jacket he can find in his wardrobe? Yeah, that'll work. The idea of Phil Rainey, who looks like he's only sexy to his wife (if he has one), taking any other man's leftovers is hilariously absurd. Bob, who usually shows the patience of Job even with Corny, is becoming agitated now, so the big reveal has to be coming soon. Nice way to lay the groundwork for the Armstrong/Corny feud by having Corny mention that Bullet Bob is just as curious to see this new team as everyone else is. dawho5
This whole angle has been great. Mostly due to Corny and Bob really making it work. Anyone know where I can get a tennis racket like that?
