Loss
Last few minutes. Robert Fuller runs in for the DQ when Gibson has the pin and slugs him with his boot, then whips him like an egg suckin' dog. Pretty strong beating, which without knowing for sure I am predicting will trigger Ricky Morton coming in.
Tim Evans
Finally the Studd Stable is back together.
El-P
Jimmy Golden does nothing for me. Just a dull brawler. Don't care about this feud at all, although Ricky Morton coming back should get things better.
WingedEagle
Robert Fuller is in the building! Love me some Fuller. Hot, violent attack with his boot and belt.
PeteF3
Decent wrestling action and then the Smoky Mountain debut of Robert Fuller. He and Golden lay out Gibson with a boot and Fuller's belt, and where, oh where, can Gibson find a partner to take the Stud Stable on? Strong segment and beatdown. GSR
This match was bought about due to Gibson interrupting a Down and Dirty segment with Golden and a match immediately starting between the two of them. Dutch Mantel was again superb on commentary, wondering why Bob Armstrong isn't fining Gibson for interrupting his segment? Gibson hits Golden with a bulldog when Robert Fuller comes out, breaks up the pin and attacks the Rock & Roller. The two of them beat on Gibson with Fuller's cowboy boot and belt and leave him laying in the ring. Gibson has been a disappointment in SMW so far and you really feel as though they were just treading water with him and biding their time until Morton was available to come in. Which I am imagining won't be far away now...
garretta
This wasn't only notable for setting up the return of Rock 'n' Roll, but for the beginning of the alignment of Dutch with Fuller and Golden as an unofficial third member of the Stud Stable, which explains why Dutch is more biased than usual in favor of Golden here. Nice to see Fuller back after a long absence, and he's another guy who's a decent face but a better natural heel. Caudle was Corey Maclin levels of naïve here. Hey, Bob, your partner's been cheering on Gibson's destruction and egging Golden on for the whole bout. What makes you think he's going to take pity on Gibson and ask the Stud Stable to back off? You know better than that!
dawho5
Nice beatdown by some guys who look like they've done it a few times before. SMW just keeps getting better and better.
