Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
A pair of interviews after the Ironman. The Bodies using an inhaler after this is too exaggerated to me, especially when you've seen the match and they were fine 50 minutes into it. The Rock & Rolls are back in the "studio" hyping up the Loser Leaves SMW match again. Morton suggests Cornette loves the Bodies "in more than one way". I like Morton as a promo, but this one isn't very good.
Kevin Ridge
Below the previous promos with these teams. The inhaler was a bit ridiculous. They could have just sat there and shown the fatigue in the faces/body language while Cornette did his promo.
Exposer
I thought this was fine. It wasn't anything special. The Bodies using an inhaler was okay too. To me it was general heel exaggerations.
soup23
Yeah this was the part of the Bodies gimmick that I didn't like and didn't make them look like threats. Thoughts Morton's promo was fine but he stumbled a few times and this didn't have the fire and energy of previous ones.
PeteF3
The inhaler thing seemed like phony sympathy to me, so it was fine. Plus it was a funny contrast to Cornette gushing about what great shape they were in. The Rock 'n Rolls have raided the Midnight Rockers' closet for their old AWA gear. GSR
The Bodies are all exhausted and struggling for air in the dressing room after defeating the Rock & Rolls in a marathon match, but Cornette claims they’ve proved one more time they can go an hour and not even feel it! They’ve proven they’re the better beating them in the marathon match and the same thing is going to happen inside a cage at Bleugrass Brawl, as finally after ten years, he’s going to rid himself and the world of his worst nemesis. Morton says everyone just saw a prime example of how Jim Cornette comes down to save his Heavenly Bodies (Cornette nailed Morton with the oxygen canister knocking him out and allowing the Bodies to get the winning fall), and while they may be the toughest team he’s ever managed, without his help they’re nothing much. At Bluegrass Brawl they’ll be in a cage and that means that Cornette can’t interfere. The only way to get back at him is to take away something he loves, and he loves the Heavenly Bodies in more than one way! This is the last go around for the Rock & Roll Express and they don’t plan to lose. By the by interview from these two. Nothing terrible, but nothing great either.
