Gene, doing what Hogan says, shows up at the Mirage in Las Vegas to get a word with Flair. Flair is wearing the world title all over Las Vegas over his suit. He gloats that he has retired as the world champion. It walks like Flair and it talks like Flair. But it's not Flair.

Flair showing off the World Title in Las Vegas. Ric thinks Hogan never should have left WWF. Flair calls out Okerlund for choosing sides with Hogan. Gene asks Flair, "What happened to you?" Ouch.

Flair is strutting around Vegas with the World Heavyweight Championship belt. Amusing.

They really produced this as a big time interview segment on location in Vegas but Flair looks defeated and it shows overall.

How is it not Flair ? Seriously.

 

I liked this a lot. Flair in complete denial getting his heat back by being the coolest cat in Vegas, strutting his stuff and looking like Hogan is way beneath him. Gotta love it. Excellent promo, cool setting. There's a world between this and the totally despisable (for a supposed babyface) and uncool (playing ball on the beach with Bruti and Jimmy Hart, yikes) segment with Hogan the previous week.

Gotta agree with Loss. Flair was flat in this.

I liked the setting, and the premise, and how Flair was enjoying his suspension/retirement. It just seemed to go a little too long without adding anything else.
