Loss
Talk about it here.
Kevin Ridge
New Jacks gets the full pat down by Mark Curtis. Biased referring there. Make shift team of Lance Storm and Brian Lee who has the fake Taker look. Seems like they didn't know what to do with Storm after Jericho got hurt. Storm takes a beating for most of the match before making a tag to Lee. Candido runs down and hits Lee with a metal trash can. Gangstas get the victory. Candido tries hiding under the ring but Cactus waits him out and nails him when he pops out.
Loss
Such a weird mish-mash of wrestlers. It's also funny that they seem to have mastered cheating behind the referee's back, so maybe they were right to point out that they didn't need Cornette. Jim Ross was outstanding on commentary. I'm sure it was tough making ends meet in this job, but he was probably happy to be calling a style of wrestling he personally liked. Candido hits Lee with a trash can behind the referee's back, which gives the match to the Gangstas. Cactus comes out and waits for Candido to come out as we cut to commercial. Loss
We get some Cactus/Candido stuff after the match. Cactus cuts a good promo to close us out.
Exposer
This was actually a solid TV tag match. Candido interfered and nailed Brian Lee in the head with a trash can and the New Jack got the cover to retain the tag belts. Cactus came out and brawled with Candido then cut a good promo afterwards. soup23
Decent tv stuff and pretty good Cacuts/ Candido stuff. Cant really get into Storm in SMW and the Gangsters matches have been more miss than hit so far.
El-P
Decent for a Gangsta match, they actually look better here than they did at points against the Rock'n Roll, but I guess that's a case of improving a bit because it's not like they work with any kind of talented opposition. I agree Ross hsa been very good since he showed up in SMW. Sounds like he had fun doing it.
PeteF3
Sort of Southern Wrestling 101--not great action but all four guys fit themselves into the standard template well enough. I do like all these interweaving storylines, with a Gangstas match segueing directly into the Cactus/Candido feud.
