Loss
Jarrett is better than usual, and Dundee is really good. We cut to a taped promo with Kerry that sadly isn't as nonsensical as usual.
PeteF3
Jarrett and Dundee are at ringside being interviewed by Marc Lowrance, who's looking almost exactly like indie songwriter John Darnielle. KVE follows with a taped promo. Both sides are doing a major hard sell on Terrence Garvin getting into the ring.
soup23
Jarrett stumbles through an ok promo. Dundee shows him hows it done once again talking about how he can overcome his height disadvantage. We then go to KVE and sadly this is one of his best promos on the set so far. Terrance is really getting run through the coals in this feud.
Kevin Ridge
Jarrett is very serious in his promos and low key too. He hasn't shown much so far. Dundee has more fire and makes some rather rude comments about Garvin.
Cox
Man, that's a lot of hate for gay dudes in those three promos. Dundee's was the best, as one might expect.
Laney
Nice promos by all 3 guys here with Dundee's being the best. Kerry cuts his best promo on the set thus far, which also means it is his least entertaining promo. These promos along with Lawler's make me want to see this 6-man tag, even if Garvin is in it. JerryvonKramer
Jarrett is a charisma vacuum here.
garretta
If this was a promo duel, it would be the blowout Lawler predicted. Dundee's the best of the three, and Lawler's a step above him. Kerry and Jarrett are fine for earnest babyfaces, but that's all. I'm surprised Jeff still seems so ill at ease on the mic. We know he legitimately grew up watching the King; you mean to tell me he didn't pick up a few points about being entertaining as a babyface, or at least tying a former partnership (such as his with Travis) into a current feud? drew wardlaw
Jarrett's hair and coat make him look like a grandmother.
GSR
Jeff Jarrett and Bill Dundee are in the Sportatorium with Marc Lowrance and Jarrett holds Billy Joe Travis, Jerry Lawler and Terrance Garvin responsible for costing him the $5,000 that was on offer for winning the recent pole Battle Royale. This Friday it’s a six man tag match and he couldn’t ask for better partners than Bill Dundee and Kerry Von Erich and they’re all coming into that match with one thing on their minds, to beat their stinking brains in. He grew up watching Jerry Lawler and he’s been the champion around Tennessee for a long time, but those days are changing, while he’s got more hate in his body than he ever could have imagined for Terrance Garvin. He’s no right to saying and do the things that he does and he guarantees that they are going to give him a beating. Bill Dundee says that everyone is always saying that he’s this itsy, bitsy fella. Well he might just be 5’7” and 205lbs, but he’s the baddest 5’7” you ever saw and the meanest 205lbs you ever saw. Jerry Lawler could teach Terrance Garvin for six months, six years or forever and he’d never get out of the closet. He’ll never make it in wrestling because it’s a man’s sport and in Jeff Jarrett, Bill Dundee and Kerry Von Erich you are looking at a man. We then get a Kerry promo and he says that they’re coming back to Dallas, TX for a six man tag match against Billy Joe Travis, Jerry Lawler and the queen himself, Terrance Garvin. He’s spoken with Bill Dundee and Jeff Jarrett and they’ve both agreed that he should have the first shot at taking Garvin’s head off. He’s messed him around in the past, would run off and hide and think that he’s not going to have to face him, well it’s funny how things change! As soon as they take down Jerry Lawler and as soon as they take down Billy Joe Travis they’re coming for Garvin, and he alone will take his head off in Dallas, TX. A much better promo from Jarrett than the previous one where he was trying to remain calm. The annoyance and anger you can detect in his voice makes it much more effective and believable. Dundee turns things up a notch and cuts a better one mind; pissed and out to get some revenge come the six man tag. We also get a good, serious, focussed promo from Kerry which is a very pleasant change from what we’ve seen from him so far in the Yearbook.
