Loss
Lawler doesn't bury Valiant as much as he does everyone else. Short and to the point.
PeteF3
This time Lawler is focused on the fans for betraying him in favor of Valiant and aims to prove them wrong, rather than talking about what a talentless moron his opponent is. soup23
Lawler has some stern words for Valiant. Good local promo.
Kevin Ridge
Lawler has the title back and is ready to finish Valiant off once and for all.
Cox
I've definitely felt like there was a HHH-esque quality in Lawler to bury second tier opponents like Chris Champion and Mike Awesome, which would only make them look bad when they came up short of winning the Unified title. He doesn't bury Valiant here and treats him with respect, since he has a long history in the territory, although Valiant is completely done at this point. garretta
One of the few times (if this promo is correct) that a town in the Memphis loop went with the program and cheered someone against Lawler during this heel run. That's the King's focus here, and he threatens to show the fans what fools they are by crippling Handsome Jimmy once and for all. The King mentions that Eddie Marlin is the promoter in Evansville. I know he was the matchmaker on Memphis TV and at the Mid-South Coliseum, but did he book some of the small towns in the loop as well? drew wardlaw
This week's local promo is for a Valiant match. Always good.
GSR
‘The King’ says that there is no way in the minute that he has that he could express the disappointment he felt last week, when he went into that ring and people that used to stand up and cheer for him, were now cheering for Jimmy Valiant. A man that has come here to try and take the World Heavyweight title away from him and out of the area. While the promoter, Eddie Marlin, a man who he’s made rich, is standing right behind Valiant saying ‘Go Jimmy Go!’ He tells the fans that he doesn’t need them, he’s the greatest and this belt means it! He’s carried Jimmy Valiant on his coat tails when they were partners, he used to think they were friends, but he can throw that all out of the window. He doesn’t need him either and will prove it this week when he steps in the ring with him and finished him off once and for all.
dawho5
I like serious Lawler promos a lot. He gets a little too wrapped up in his own clever insults when he's burying people.
