Loss Posted February 2, 2013 Author Report Posted February 2, 2013 This was just a near continuous stream of rudo miscommunication spots with the Brazos and it was glorious. The Villanos brought some great athletic spots. Everything was really well-exeucted. There was never a real sense of danger or any selling from either side, which made this feel slightly exhibition-like. But it was still a good match and was filled with lots of creative sequences. shoe Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 I really enjoyed this. The miscommunication spots were great. The guys were just smooth in the work . Quote
PeteF3 Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 Entertaining as hell with more great athletic spots from Super Porky, who now that I've seen a bunch of him has to qualify as one of the all-time great fatty wrestlers. This was basically one very, very long opening shine sequence dragged out to a full match, with most of the technico offense consisting of armdrags and the only asskicking stuff coming from the stooge Brazos, oddly enough. But the spots were so great and intricate that it was still really, realy fun. Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 I won’t be able to follow who is who in this match. Brazos tease a mass walkout. Mostly comedy first fall which is good. Brazos show off some agility for big guys. They hit some great looking tandem dives tot he outside. Felt it started to drag a bit as match went on to the point that I was just waiting for it to end. Didn't think as high of it as you guys. Quote
soup23 Posted May 23, 2013 Report Posted May 23, 2013 I liked this a good bit but may be the outlier in liking the mexico match from disc 4 a little better. I think I got behinds Porky's stage walkout more in that match. Quote
garretta Posted May 9, 2015 Report Posted May 9, 2015 This is the kind of match I despise. I'll submit that there was plenty of athleticism from both sides, which was a treat to see. But when seven of the wrestlers wear masks and the bulk of the match is armdrags and flipovers, it's not going to sit well with me at all. I'm slowly starting to grasp the Mexican multiman structure, but this match didn't further my education one bit. Quote
dawho5 Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 Fun exhibition match, not much more. Super Porky is really good, would love to see him in a serious setting. Quote
