Murdoch and Slater are dead serious about going after the Steiners. This is a good promo, and a good idea for a tag team. I don't know if they can still bring it in the ring at this point, though.

I was into this feud as a 9 year old. I distinctly remember that they announced a Dick Murdoch vs Rick Steiner match for syndication and for whatever reason they canceled the match and added several non squash matches to the show to make up for it. (OMG vs Big Josh being the only one I recall)

I think Murdoch and Slater make a good team . It's a team I'd rather see work the Rock N Rolls or Young Pistols than the Steiners, but if they still had some in the tank they would've had good matches with the Steiners.

I don't think we needed the collection agency gimmick, but even a slightly long-in-the-tooth Murdoch and Slater figure to give the Steiners a tussle. Murdoch really brings it on the mic, but Slater's almost solely a Terry Funk imitator these days right down to the last inflection.

I don't get the boot on Slater's hand, either. Maybe we'll find out its significance in the weeks to come.

I think it was after they had beaten up on Ricky with the boot. Either way, murdoch is still a good promo and I am liking this angle in comparison to most of WCW at this point.
