I guess I knew this happened, but I'm surprised Bret was willing to go this far with the language, given all his pronouncements about the decency of wrestling TV. How did they work this out with USA? It worked as a shock to the senses.

Bret is starting to get booed, and this is a great "I'm about to turn" interview. Looking forward to reliving this run.

Bret did a good job in this interview rewarding long term fans of what was about to happen but also not all of a sudden stealing popcorn from kids making it blatantly obvious.

Bret talks about changing the face of WrestleMania by beating Sid for title before to make new main event. He will give Undertaker a title shot down the line. Vince notes some of the fans not being fully behind Bret.

Even as we're rapidly approaching the Crash TV era, we're still getting good build to the big matches on TV, as we talk of Bret "lobbying for this opportunity" and the conjecture throughout the night as to whether Monsoon will allow the title to be up for grabs in the match. Loud mixed reaction for both Bret and Austin when his name is mentioned.

Really good promo. Bret is going farther into heel territory here with his "tough luck" routine for The Undertaker if he wins the title. I laughed when he said Taker would get his shot & get in line like everyone else. I'm excited for heel Bret coming up.
