El-P
Channing Tatum could play a better Randy Orton than Randy Orton himself.

elliott
Will Ferrell's interpretation of Ric Flair from East Bound and Down should put him in contention for the Flair role. Â Who should play Terry Funk?
Loss
I think it would be interesting to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan pull off Terry Funk.
MoS
Watched the latest episode of Supernatural. Miz is horrible, horrible, terrible at acting. But he should use this to fuel his Hollywood heel persona.
flyonthewall2983
I think it would be interesting to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan pull off Terry Funk. Â It would be admirable of any actor if they could pull off the way he would move and bump around. That just makes me think in general how actors could study matches and see how far they go in mimicking the trademarks.

flyonthewall2983
I maintain Gary Oldman would be great as Vince but someone suggested Michael Shannon which would be good too. Maybe Shannon for young Vince (late 70's-80's) and Oldman for the Attitude Era.
Laz
He's not quite old enough, but I could see Michael Wincott being a great Pat Patterson.
flyonthewall2983
That's a bit of a stretch, I don't think I've ever seen him blonde or speak with a Quebecois accent before.

flyonthewall2983
Edi Patterson on HBO's The Righteous Gemstones would be a perfect model for a Sherri/Sunny-type female valet character today.

Dwayne Johnson talked up a project with WWE Films about Flair's life on something recently. Pacino would be great as old Ric. They have nearly the same tan. Dye his hair or give him a wig and put some contacts in his eyes and he could do it. He could even do a bit of Ric's accent too, it's not an obvious comparison but when he did Kevorkian for the HBO movie he had a really acceptable Midwestern twang to his voice, that wouldn't be too far from the Minnesota that's still in Ric's.

flyonthewall2983
Kevin Gage, best known for playing Waingro in Heat, in that role reminds me a lot of Jake Roberts in nearly every way but his voice.

I have likely mentioned this already but I think PSH would have been a perfect Bobby Heenan. It wouldn’t have surprised me to learn he watched wrestling when he was more of a jock before he became an actor so who knows. God I hope he becomes more appreciated as time goes on and people go back to the work and say he was one of a kind in his field.
flyonthewall2983
I believe that if all the world knew him to be was just an actor, it surely would have been mentioned here by now that John Cena would be a perfect Vince
