This is a fun section.

To be fair, Jeff Hardy is someone I might have on my list if I did a top 100 of 2006-2013. I just wouldn't have him even close to this high. The rest, well, not so much.

Alan should have added "as it relates to FSM magazine over the years" to his criteria description. The list itself is in line with the coverage FSM gives to modern Wrestling.

Sara Del Ray was more important in wrestling than Batista from 06 onwards, apparently.

No one said that as already mentioned. Sara is an important/influential figure and should be represented on the list. As she helped carry SHIMMER for years, a cited influence on other females, broke the gender barrier on the indies in a pretty credible way and then became the first female trainer in NXT.

2006 is an odd year to start from, is that the year the magazine was born?

It is indeed. They did a 100 to commemorate the 100th issue of the magazine.

Negro Casas is criminal low.

Outside of a really good piece Phil Schneider wrote and the occasional plug in the news section of Cassandro's Art festival shows in London the magazine doesn't really cover Lucha at all.

Maybe, I'm missing it. No Goldust?

Goldust has been tremendous since his return this year but didn't make the 2006-2013 cut.

The criteria, as quoted in the magazine, is as follows: "FSM's 100 Greatest Wrestlers 2006-2013 was conceived to mark the date that FSM first hit the shelves, and our 100th issue. Consistent quality of matches in the period 2006-present was the main criteria, though this was not merely judged on workrate or technical skill, but instead incorporated performance on the biggest stage, ability to work the crowd, and quality of storylines."

The main thing missing from that criteria, it seems, is that it is also based on the amount of coverage they got from the FSM itself.

While we hardly shirk important, difficult stories, we always want to write about the best wrestling out there.
