soup23
Hollywood is here two weeks in a row? Color me surprised. Him and Nash run down to the ring and Hogan gets in but Giant is able to fend off both him and Hall and locks them both in for a double chokeslam. Macho comes flying off the top rope to stop that but he is stunted by Luger. Luger locks him in the torture rack on the outside and Nash stands there and makes fun of Macho. Giant gets the chokeslam on Hall with Nash breaking up the pin. We then get a cool moment with Giant not being able to hit Nash, so instead he collapses the ring by pulling out one of the posts in an impressive looking visual as the credits come up. Migs
Very nice of the Giant to ease the burden on the ring crew.
bradhindsight
Cool visual as the go-home segment for the PPV with the Giant destroying the ring with Hall still in it.
Loss
Even though the ring crumbling was a cool visual, what led to this wasn't filmed very well because of the Luger-Savage run-ins not being caught on camera. This was all set up for Giant to finally get his revenge on Nash and then Nash ... well, we'll get to that.
tim
I really liked the tearing down the ring spot to get over the Nash/Giant match. Great spot to build anticipation for a match where Giant hasn't been allowed to touch Nash in the buildup.
PeteF3
This restraining-order angle is SO, SO dumb, but there's some other good stuff here with Nash refusing to help Savage and of course the great closing visual of Giant tearing the ring apart. The WWF/E would later make this a staple of Big Show matches and angles but WCW shows that they could pull a stunt like this off effectively when need be. TravJ1979
I agree the "can't touch me, but I can touch you" crap is always terrible. The only thing worthwhile here is the furthering of the nwo split and Giant killing the ring. RATING: The ring gave the Giant a better match than Nash did.
