Loss
Last few minutes. Jericho has tights that say 1004! Crowd is VERY into this which is a testament to Jericho's heel work. Jericho says "You're nothing, just like your dead father" which causes Malenko to snap. He goes after Jericho with a chair and gets disqualified. They end up brawling into the backstage area and outside in traffic! Jericho finally hides in a building across the street. Fun!
soup23
Finish was fun with Jericho looking strong making the ropes on the Cloverleaf. I stand by my statement that Malenko should have won clean here. Him snapping was fine but I didn't think Malenko was the right person to convey the snapped portion that this storyline demanded. Migs
Malenko did too much dragging and not enough beating, even if the brawl outside had some cool visuals.
PeteF3
Yeah, crazy brawls are so not Dean's forte--and his chairshots were pretty bad, too. This still has great heat and a really good closing stretch, and Jericho darting through traffic to a building across the street was fun. TravJ1979
Yeah this feud is starting to drag with these silly brawls.
dawho5
Match was fine, but with too much brawling from Dean. I'll agree that it's not his forte (nor Jericho's really). I feel like the booking was off in forcing that kind of match when it was not a big strength for either guy. The end was interesting, but ultimately not great because Dean simply is not a "chairshots & dragging a guy around the arena" wrestler. He just didn't do well at all put in that spot, and knowing how he liked to wrestle it's not surprising.
