goodhelmet Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Hey Joe... name the time and place. We'll discuss whatever you want. Quote
Dylan Waco Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Only endorsing Will v. Joe angle if "Hey Joe" is the lead in song Quote
goodhelmet Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 That can be done but "Big Bad Bill is Sweet William Now" will have to be playing at the end. Quote
W2BTD Posted September 30, 2014 Author Report Posted September 30, 2014 Hey Joe... name the time and place. We'll discuss whatever you want. Â Dylan unearthed some common ground between us at the end of the Historical show that hasn't been released yet. Â I won't spoil it. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Joe, I wanted to start a feud with you too, but then you went and joined me in shitting on Strongbow as the worst guy ever. Â Â Enjoyed this show a good bit. As I wrote on Dylan's FB page: Â I enjoyed it when Joe started screaming about Edge. I also found it funny when they were just listing off increasingly obscure female candidates to go against Moolah for the HoF. Â You did pretty well putting Ivan over, but I think you sold his GCW and Mid-Atlantic stuff a little short. The clincher for me with Ivan is that here's a guy who legit mainevented big shows at MSG, The Omni, Greensboro and in Orlando at a time when you can count the number of guys who could do that on one hand. He's comparable to someone like Ernie Ladd. This is without considering the "little cherries" such as his early stardom in Canada, winning the title off Bruno and the tag run in Crockett, which are all nice boosters to his case. Section on Sting felt a bit like a heel beatdown on the 2-year old rotting carcus of a horse. Quote
El Boricua Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Wow, you guys were vicious with Sting's candidacy. Remind me not to piss you guys off. Quote
hammerva Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 Wow, you guys were vicious with Sting's candidacy. Remind me not to piss you guys off. Â Not as vicious as the Edge candidacy. I agree that he really isn't a HOF but shit I thought that one guy was going to pop a blood vessel in his head he was so angry about the concept Quote
Zoo Enthusiast Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 Totally agree with Dylan on the notion of hardcores not liking babyfaces, especially in the case of RNR. They aren't remembered as cool. It's ridiculous that they didn't go in immediately. Quote
Matt D Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 You guys missed the memo. The new argument for Sting is that he influenced John Cena's haircut. Cena said as much a few weeks ago on Countdown. Quote
shakla Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 That "women I'd rather vote for than Moolah" bit was great. Would be a fun exercise to come up with 10 modern women + Moolah and rank them by HoF "worthiness". I think Madusa is better than some of the other names mentioned tho. She had a long career, was in multiple promotions, often pushed as the top female. Should be nowhere near a ballot, but certainly stronger than Sunny, Wendi Richter and others. Quote
