Grimmas Posted March 13, 2016 Author Report Posted March 13, 2016 I can't believe they put Swagger in that position. Quote
sek69 Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Jericho bringing back the "best in the world at what I do" is only going to encourage more CM Punk chants. Quote
sek69 Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Big Cass rockin' that main roster tan. Quote
hammerva Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Okay I know this is pushing it but who the fuck thought that picture of Booty O cereal was a good idea. I mean sure it looks like the New Day if this was maybe 1940 Â Yeah I am way behind on the show Quote
Ricky Jackson Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Enzo's such a great face in peril Quote
sek69 Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 I really hate when the person who's obviously not winning dedicates the match to someone important. Quote
Ricky Jackson Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 You must be just a barrel of laughs at a party Quote
sek69 Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 That's why I don't go to parties. No one wants to hear about failing babyfaces deflating crowds. Quote
EricR Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Fun show so far, even without a really good matches. The vibe is good, and I like that it's Saturday night so I can drink while watching the show. Quote
Matt D Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 After watching this card, I am okay with only one person wrestling on it making my 100. (Pre-show doesn't count) Â That's not to say it hasn't been fun, but yeah. Â I'd say Jericho has a shot at the bottom ten, but I need room for Mike Jackson, so we'll see. Quote
EricR Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Who was the agent that decided to have Stardust take 95% of the Zayn match? Quote
Matt D Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 It would have worked if we got Stardust vs Brock and Harper vs Zayn though! Quote
hammerva Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 So I guess even the bookers realized the Luke Harper vs Brock Lesnar would be much more entertaining and just let Bray stand out there.  Well it is a good thing they are protecting Bray for well nothing I guess  I can live with Sami struggling against who has at least a smig of momentum in the WWE. Stardust is so irrelevant that the Ascension is getting away from him and got nothing in that match Quote
Matt D Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 This is a very weirdly put together card. Multiple superplex spots or teases. The spinning Clothesline as a big spot two matches in a row. Figure-fours in two matches. Quote
Ricky Jackson Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 About as good a match you could've hoped for I think Quote
NotJayTabb Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Sami is great at working as an underdog face, but that match proved he shouldn't do it vs just anybody Quote
Matt D Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 On paper, the results were all pretty much what a USA MARCH TO WRESTLEMANIA show should have. The people they needed to shine for the show were highlighted and won. Â But the execution of it left something to be desired at times. Quote
EricR Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Man that main event was dull. And that visual pin was just about the most poorly executed false finishes I've ever seen. Â Was Reigns not available to confront anybody? Is he hurt? Quote
sek69 Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Dave mentioned that Roman isn't healing from his nasal surgery as quickly as expected. Quote
NotJayTabb Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Just in case anyone thought Ambrose might win the title, Michael Cole made sure to yell "Dean Ambrose has just proved he can pin the WWE champion" to totally drain the drama from the last 5 mins of the match. Quote
Childs Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 I didn't understand that show at all; didn't help anyone or generate any intrigue around Mania. Quote
C.S. Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Fun show, but yeah, completely inconsequential (as expected, to be fair). Â Man, Sami and Stardust have minus zero negative chemistry. Stardust blows. Â The ladies and Jericho/Swagger were good. Jericho did an awesome job heeling on the mic tonight. Â WTF at the Brock vs. Wyatt false advertising. We essentially got Brock vs. Harper instead. Yeah, I like Harper better than Wyatt too, but the match was about as exciting as moldy cheese because Harper hasn't been pushed as a threat at all. It didn't help Wyatt either that he looked like a total bitch backing away from the match and Brock. Â Don't see how the outcome benefits Ambrose much, unless he pulls off a miracle and beats Brock at Mania. Good match, other than that, though. Quote
hammerva Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 I hope that isn't the blueprint for the main event of Wrestlemania against Reigns because they are going to need some serious juicing of the hate factor to make people think it will be better than Ambrose vs Triple H. Â If that is what a Triple H WM match is going to look like then get ready for Triple H vs Randy Orton 2 Quote
tlk23 Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 I didn't understand that show at all; didn't help anyone or generate any intrigue around Mania. Ambrose has a claim to challenge for the title after Mania. Best women's match on the main roster in a while. NXT tag had a hot crowd. Good enough for me for a house show. Quote
