The Chief
You don't hear much about Suburban Commando as a part of Taker's mythos. Looking back I wonder if it's more important than we give it credit for. He had the Hogan stamp of approval immediately upon entering the company. By the time the movie came out he was about to have his main event program with Hogan. I don't think that's a coincidence. How different would things be if John Nord got that spot? Cross Face Chicken Wing
For those of us that are a little slow to catch on to new-fangled things......when we sign up to donate through Patreon, are we signing up for monthly donations in the amount we specify? Or is it just a one-time donation? Or is it up to us? Also, when you say we get to "pick a week" for the $25 donation, do you actually mean we can pick a year for a specified week? Thanks
Cox
One thing about the SummerSlam payoffs that came up on this week's Between the Sheets - it was Bad News Brown's low payoff for Wrestlemania, particularly in relation to what Roddy Piper made for that show, that eventually led to him leaving WWE after SummerSlam. BrianB
Those WCW family feuds are hilarious. Here's a link to the one played during the ep: They even managed to film one while Kevin Nash was still a Master Blaster, not sure if his partner had already run out and WCW hadn't jettisoned moving on from the idea, which is a real keeper since Sid is also on that ep. Anybody got the full version? I could only find the highlights on youtube. COFFEE! Thanks What Kris said^ It's monthly, but it's up to you for how long to keep donating. There is no time frame commitment, so you can back out at any month before the billing period, which is typically at the beginning of the following month (e.g. if you pledge $25 today, it won't be drawn until early October, usually the first weekday.) Outsider
How many of your listeners care about Japanese Wrestling? Personally I have no beef with it but just never got into it probably because I don't get that nostalgic high from it like I would from American Wrasslin. Anyway Thanks again for doing a week in my favorite era. '84 - '94.
Phil Austin
I personally care more about the Japanese wrestling section than the Lucha section-the beauty of Between the Sheets is it covers the entire cross section of that week worldwide - and of course, they list the timings if you want to skip a bit! One correction on this one: the Summerslam match with the Rockers was against Power and Glory, not the Orient Express
GSR
The The are indeed a fine band, though it's more about Mind Bomb for me.
Matt D
The only stuff I ever skip for time reasons is MMA, and then it depends on what's going on. If it's Joe Son or something, I'll listen. Some of the Japanese stuff isn't my strong suit but that just means I learn the most.

The behind the scenes stuff from Japan in the 80s and 90s is fascinating and is something I know far less about than the US. I always enjoy that section and think it would be good to have more detail in the Japan stuff, although I expect there's simply far less is torus available. PeteF3
I admit that lucha news often causes my eyes to glaze over--not just listening to it here, but reading it in Observers myself, just because seemingly every week the story was "These 37 guys all jumped from CMLL to AAA," then another 20 guys are thinking of jumping back but might not, and then it repeats the opposite direction the next week. Pete Puma
I mentioned this to Kris/Bix on Twitter- the CMLL TV with the buildup to Rayo/Cien and the apuestas tag also included the results from the single greatest fan contest I've ever seen. WIN A DATE WITH RINGO MENDOZA It was exactly as comically awkward as you'd expect it to be.
