WWE NXT UK announced

So the long awaited UK project is going to be under the NXT umbrella with their own mens/womens/tag titles. Johnny Saint will be the on screen GM.

I'm curious as to how they are going to manage it. Is it going to be a weekly show? Once every two weeks? Network excloosive?

The interesting thing I haven't seen many people mention is that this is WWE NXT UK. Do they think that's more marketable than simply WWE UK?

I imagine Triple H or whoever is behind the scenes wants their brand on the product.

Of course. But it's still a choice worth discussing. They obviously thought that would mean more than just WWE UK, which is the part I find interesting.

I think one day the plan is to makes the brands not Raw and SD, but WWE and NXT. With a true rivalry between them. It's a slow build, for sure, but one day after Vince is gone.

For the crowd they're trying to attract (the UK indie fans)? NXT is wayyyyy more valuable a brand than outright WWE.

I suppose if you label it a WWE production you set the excpectations higher than what theyre going to reach. In terms of star power and production and scope its much more in line with NXT than WWE.
