hammerva
Yeah the idea of Kurt Angle's retirement match being because a bathroom break with Corbin involved is pretty awful By the way, give me Angle vs Gable. I don't care if WM has 25 matches give me Angle vs Gable for 30 minutes Is there anything more Chicago than chanting CM Punk during this match. What did they forget their beachballs

I know but Corbin is such a gut punch that I was looking for reasons to change the match
KawadaSmile
Kurt vs Corbin can only be good if it is less than 5 minutes long. Angle is good at stuff similar to this good Gable match, and having him go like 15 minutes is less than ideal.
Tenese Sarwieh
Angle slam/ankle lock in 2 seconds.
peachchaos
Okay, let's chillax. Angle cannot work a 30 minute match. Pretty sure he can't even work a 10 minute match. I'm not a Corbin fan at all, but he is a Name they have been pushing for a year and is consistently over at house shows (as a face). Like, he's one of the big attractions for the people we like to refer to as "casual fans" since they're not part of this bubble. In terms of the TV and creative, it also makes sense. Not what I would have booked, but it's fine since Angle is faded glory at this stage. The Chicago crowd chanting for Cena was something to behold. Time really is a flat circle. KawadaSmile
Beth looking more jacked than the Undisputed Era and DIY. She's cool as fuck and example #3 of why bangin' the roids is good

Badlittlekitten
Wow that actually turned into a good segment. Fingers crossed Nia/Tamina don’t get added to the match.
peachchaos
That was actually really good. Sasha and Bayley are nowhere close to the vets on the mic, though.

It absolutely makes sense storyline wise but when you tease a mystery/surprise opponent you inevitably get people's hopes up. That's why the deflation from the crowd. If they had just announced the match straightforward people might not like it but be more accepting and less deflated

They are leaps and bounds above Nattie. I'd argue that they are better than Beth, but she's cooler in the grizzled vet with huge fucking arms role

No one should ever get their hopes up for a WWE mystery. The "WWE Universe" fails to learn and remember that lesson. Every single time. (Myself included.) Strummer
Still don't get the rep Sasha had as a great talker when she got called up. She's a little better now but I don't think she's a great promo at

KawadaSmile
Mojo is such a great promo but man this storyline is weird as fuck. People don't care about him, so it just a dude talking to a mirror.

Have him go to Evolve, ICW, or any of the other companies they're like up with cause like you said he's a good talker just need tuning in other areas. KawadaSmile
Jinder vs Ricochet was fun. Jinder is a solid hand in the ring and Rico needs a shine against someone who has status but can afford to lose.
peachchaos
Wouldn't mind seeing more from Jinder in that capacity...working base for midcard flyers. Could be a solid gig for him.
C.S.
So weird that they're doing the underdog story with Dana Brooke, of all people, when she doesn't and never really has come across sympathetically.
