C.S. Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 If WWE really wants to do something ballsy, they'll have Kofi beat Brock clean. Won't happen, because WWE is a paint-by-numbers, risk-averse, soulless cog that has no idea how to surprise anyone anymore.
Strummer Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 Oh God are they doing a take on Shane having jury duty?
C.S. Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 What a lucky coincidence that Shane McMahon just happened to be served legal papers during the two hours of live WWE TV.
Strummer Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 So are they implying Owens will have part control of the company if he wins the lawsuit?

KawadaSmile Posted September 18, 2019 Author Report Posted September 18, 2019 I feel bad for Tucker. It's impossible not to get overshadowed by Otis.

KawadaSmile Posted September 18, 2019 Author Report Posted September 18, 2019 This segment was fantastic Now, we might not only have Daniel Bryan/Roman Reigns vs Erick Rowan/Luke Harper (my god) but also Heavy Machinery vs Rowan/Harper.

It doesn't help that he's been in mostly heatless feuds but he's also not had a particularly good match since the title change. Time to move on and have him as the babyface gatekeeper on Smackdown.
sek69 Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 I just want Brock and Big E to do the ultimate hoss match, just one time.

I don't blame Kofi for that one bit though. Look at who his opponents have been: KO (before he found himself again), Dolph Ziggler (lole), Randy Orton (the black hole of wrestling). Going back to Brock the Bore isn't the answer - even if it's just a transition to Roman.
SmartMark15 Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 Anyone else hoping to see the first live NXT?

KawadaSmile Posted September 19, 2019 Author Report Posted September 19, 2019 Hunter almost makes Vince look humble.
C.S. Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 "N-X-T is L-I-V-E on U-S-A." Mauro is the best in the business. Nobody can touch him. Fight me, people!
SmartMark15 Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 Not gonna lie, marked out for that opening. Didn't expect Triple H to be doing that live. That's the kind of subtle production that separates WWE presentation from other stuff when it's at its best.

KawadaSmile Posted September 19, 2019 Author Report Posted September 19, 2019 One of the best possible opening matches they could've done. Bianca is such a star, an ICON, a queen, a boss, the EST, man!
C.S. Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 If they were hoping to blow anyone away with this show, they haven't succeeded. It's a perfectly serviceable hour of wrestling so far, but no one will be going "wow" by the end of it. That Grimes-Maluta match was a complete waste of airtime and opportunity. Oof! AEW needs capitalize on this and deliver a stunner of a show.
hammerva Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 It is pretty fun that a man like Cameron Grimes (Trevor Lee) who made his legacy for having matches that weren't consider a warmup if it doesn't go more than 30 minutes wins a squash match on NXT debut in about 5 seconds
KawadaSmile Posted September 19, 2019 Author Report Posted September 19, 2019 Remember when JBL made a joke (more like a good observation) and people were really "angry"? He was right all along.
