Tenese Sarwieh
They did a great job of hiding Dominik and making him look good and that sunset bomb was awesome but I'm ready for this program to end.
KawadaSmile
Ivar had a cervical injury https://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/2020-09-07/article/ivar-injury-update Scary shit. They went straight to the finish, too. Guess there was no time to let Ced and Rico be aware.
SirEdger
So, basically, you're saying that it wasn't a ref screw up (it was clearly obvious that Ricochet had kicked out at 2) but they stopped the match to take care of Ivar. In hindsight, an excellent decision considering it's a cervical injury. Is it me or did it seem like Ivar jammed his head on either Lashley or MVP while doing that topé? sek69
That makes sense, looked like he got a stinger the way he was shaking his arm, but if it was something that serious then just ending it like that was the best call. The moment Ivar threw an X, the call was made to finish the match asap. Veteran ref Jimmy Korderas pretty much confirmed it on his Twitter - it was too blatant to be a simple screw up. Not sure what exactly injured him. If not for the report, I'd say his knee was what got injured. He does seem to hit his chin on the dive, which may have caused some whiplash, though. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

MoS
Is there a reason Orton has been booked to have 2 virtual wins over Lee in 7 days after they gave Lee a win that actually put him over? Between Roman and Bayley-Sasha, Smackdown has become a far better show than Raw, which is a reverse of how they were a couple of months ago
sek69
They brought up Keith Lee and then don't have him do Keith Lee things in the ring, so I wouldn't be surprised if Vince is already over him.

At the triple threat, the one pinned was Seth, which makes it clear that the kill move was Lee's, not the RKO. Yesterday, Lee took an RKO but there was no indication he was going to lose. IMO what's grating is not those DQ finishes, but the fact that he's not getting much to do outside those matches. Like, give him more interview segments, address the fact that Drew, despite being a "good friend", has interrupted him twice.

He RKO'd him before pinning Rollins. It was clear he could have chosen who to pin. He also hit the RKO after a back and forth match yesterday and put Lee down with it and Drew interfered immediately after to end the match. You can argue that one RKO would not get a 3-count but it is clearly booked to be virtual victories imo

You can make the case for the 2nd match, but given Orton's hurry to pin Rollins, it was clear that Lee's finisher was more effective. sek69
The more telling sign to me was that the announcers were way less enthusiastic about Lee than they were before, that's often a tell that Vince is no longer as interested in someone. FMKK
How can anyone see the camera work on the Cedric turn and the Mysterio kendo stick attack and hear the cringe verbiage of the Retribution promo and think this is anything but one of the worst produced television shows in history? This is the first that I'd seen any WWE TV in a while and it is genuinely unwatchable.
sek69
I've grown numb to the vertigo-inducing camera cuts, but hearing the alleged bringers of chaos I-Can't-Believe-It's-Not-Antifa group speaking in WWE word salad was just hilarious to me. FMKK
Just take a break from it for a couple of weeks and try to watch again. It's an interesting experiment on how bizarre it truly is and how it must be impossible for them to ever make new fans.
sek69
I remember seeing a fan cam showing a WWE cameraman violently moving the camera up and and down while someone was hitting chairshots. Made it clear how ridiculous it looks even to people at the show itself.
KawadaSmile
Adam Cole doing his spiel in front of the PC crowd looks so bad. He misses having an audience that cherishes his drama-fueled wrestling
