WWE TV 10/18 - 10/24 Did you know Rod Stewart plagiarized a Brazilian artist?

In discussing what happened yesterday, Dave noted that Fox had been lobbying to get Charlotte on SD for a while and kind of implied in the usual Dave way that would probably be a factor in her not facing any consequences for her actions. She really has Vince over a barrel it seems, which I'm normally all in favor of, but it's gonna be hilarious if she ends up going full 90s HBK.

Everything surrounding Izzy is wack as fuck and honestly very creepy. MSK rocks and those guys suck ass.

Considering that her parents don't seem to be the sharpest knives in the drawer and that she's being trained by Tessa Blanchard of all people, nothing is bound to end well for Izzy.

Jesus, that sentence just kept getting worse the more I read it.

Apparently this all started with Becky calling her "plastic" in a promo a few weeks back and Charlotte went all Michael Jordan over it (as in "....and I took that personally")

II DVR'ed the Smackdown replay tonight just to see that final segment and I am wondering if they edited it.

Charlotte handed her title to Sonya, Becky threw hers at Charlotte and she dropped it. It didn't really seem all that odd.

EDIT: Just saw the original on Twitter. They totally edited out the part where Becky reached for the belt and Charlotte turned away from her and dropped it.

The new edit actually makes Becky look shitty for agressively throwing the belt at her while Charlotte just hands her over. Wierd.

It's clear from my posts that I don't like Charlotte and I am a massive fan of Becky - so much so that I named a street dog my family rescued last month Becky cuz of course I did - and Charlotte absolutely was unprofessional if she sandbagged Becky in the segment, but this Keller report seems like a source who has a particular axe to grind with Charlotte. As susceptible as Dave is to being worked by his sources, Wade has historically been worse. I am not denying that a lot of the talent hate working with Charlotte, but there was also a report that she fought hard to lose clean to Bianca, thinking it would really elevate Bianca, and if correct, she was right to think and do so, and should be applauded for it. That's certainly doing more for Bianca than Becky has in the last two months. That part of the story has not caught any traction. IIRC, she has also advocated for Naomi in the past. I can't imagine that she has no friends or support backstage. Obviously Becky is the bigger star and also the locker-room leader, so Charlotte won't get any supporters if Becky confronts her, but that report made her sound like Scott Hall in 2002.

I think I remember the "Charlotte is a politician" stuff starting up in late 2016 with the feud with Sasha. Kind of funny as it's taken five years for that talk to really catch fire

Sasha does have a good reason to be aggrieved here as well. She was made to look like a complete afterthought in the segment, and she is probably going to lose to Charlotte cuz she loses all important matches to Charlotte.

That story of Charlotte being booted and getting physically escorted out of the building seems like a massive exaggeration to me, if not an outright work. Is that me being too cynical?

Of all the reports of the incident that have come out, the only one that paints Charlotte in a positive light is from a guy (Alex McCarthy of Talksport) she has a history of feeding stories to. It's easy to say that her job is safe because Vince would never hand top tier talent to the opposition, but it seems just as likely that AEW would steer clear of someone who's such a head case that Vince let her go in the middle of a wrestling war. They kicked Ivelisse to the curb for far less.

Saw this brought get up on twitter and thought it was telling. Remember when Charlotte attacked Meltz on twitter awhile back and pretty much none of her workers backed her and piled on Dave. When wwe talent pass by a chance to bash  Dave you know you aren't well liked backstage

Sad state when backstage goings on are far more interesting and talked about than the onscreen product.  I'm still eagerly awaiting Bray Wyatts post wwe interview. Wade was pushing the narrative that he was "difficult" to deal with backstage and that made him an easy cut. I wanna know how much of Brays shitty creative was down to him vs Vince and Bruce.
