Big Chinese characters projected in hologram, comes out in a coolie and robe, swings a bo around and does martial arts moves. If somebody did that in the territory days, people looking back would say how cringy and stereotypical it was.

IIRC she does have legit martial arts experience in kung fu and kickboxing, so it's not like she's an amateur who got the gimmick based on her nationality.

It is a thin line between highlighting someone's culture and being stereotypical about it, but so far it has mostly been played straight.

Ronda does jiu jitsu and comes out in a leather jacket and skirt. I’m not saying the whole gimmick is racist, and to be charitable, one could say they’re going for a Raiden in Mortal Kombat thing, but idk, it’s a bad look.

I get where you're coming from, but it's Mortal Kombat, right?. Even if MK is racist, which it is?
