Paragould High School
Home of the Rams - Fund Raiser

A Thursday night packed house with wrestling for a good cause as IPW comes to a town near you, bringing the best in wrestling action!

Hosts Buddy Lee and Bert Prentice welcome everyone to the show, promising exciting wrestling action!

Match #1
The Enforcer versus Cody Michaels.
Energetic match with the curly haired Michaels putting his masked opponent through the ringer. The cheating Enforcer fights his way back into the match but with the fans behind him, Michaels with a flying cross body block is able to get the 1! 2! 3!

Match #2
Mountain Lou versus the Arkansas Terror #1 w/Dark Journey & Arkansas Terror #2.
Big bald man in black tights not only has to deal with the skinny opponent but his manager and "twin" the entire match. With the referee giving Dark Journey a piece of his mind, the two Terrors clothesline Lou with a chain, putting him down for the count.

With the match over, the two masked men put the boots to Lou, egged on by Dark Journey and booed by the fans. The boos quickly become cheers when out from the back comes ...

PLOWBOY FRAZIER!

Match # 3
Plowboy Frazier versus The Arkansas Terrors w/Dark Journey.
We get the belll and we are underway! Grabbing the masked men, he bangs their heads together before tossing them both into the ring. The slow plodding Plowboy joins them in the ring and proceeds to dismantle them. He pins them both after splashing them.

We have a happy audience heading into an intermission. Lee and Prentice bring the school principal into the ring and hand over a check for the fund raiser.

After the principal leaves the ring, Tojo Yamamoto and the New Guinea Headhunter enter the ring. The aging veteran talks about creating havoc here in IPW, starting tonight!

Match #4
Tojo Yamamoto & the New Guinea Headhunter versus Reno Riggins & Dancing Wolf.
Japanese salt ceremony to start things off into a brawl. Back and forth match that sees Dancing Wolf very nearly end the match with the flying tomahawk chop.

Tojo with the save and on the offensive with his very painful stomach claw. Dancing Wolf dances around the ring, pointing at Tojo before putting him down with chops. Riggins in to brawl with the Headhunter. Riggins in control, chopping down the Headhunter but Tojo answers with a handful of salt to the eyes. New Guinea Headhunter with the pin attempt and the win.

The fans boo as Riggins and Dancing Wolf plead with the referee. They plead their case to no avail until he swipes his hand across Riggins' face. Tasting the salt, he calls for the bell REVERSING THE DECISION AND AWARDING RIGGINS AND DANCING WOLF THE VICTORY!

Buddy Lee and Bert Prentice wish everyone a safe trip home after promising that IPW will return to Paragould!

IPW doesn't waste time as we're off & running. Fun fact, when I first got into the game I strongly considered running a territory in the Ozarks so it's pretty cool to see someone step in here.

Speaking of my early days, I had a lot of fun writing for Tojo. Glad to see Papa-san already causing trouble.

Nice touch having your first show be a fundraiser. I understand that promotions used to do this frequently and it'd be a great way to build goodwill.

Welcome to the game!

I love the territory feel. Booking in the H.S. gave it the perfect feel.

A lot of fun with Lou, Plowboy, the Terrors and Dark Journey.

Michaels and Riggins get over as babyfaces.

Always great seeing Tojo in the game.

It's cool seeing a smaller territory in the game. Great job!

Cody Michaels versus The Enforcer.
A rehash of their two previous matches with the babyface Michaels getting the nod once again over the masked man.

The much smaller masked men with a low blow by DJ are able to pin Lou.

A Sunday afternoon matinee as IPW comes to a town near you, bringing the best in wrestling action!

Hosts Buddy Lee and Bert Prentice welcome everyone to the show, promising exciting wrestling action!

Match #1
Brian Knighton versus Cody Michaels.
Friendly match-up between two youngsters that starts with a handshake. Energetic competition throughout that sees Cody Michaels roll up his opponent for the pinfall in a match that ends with a handshake.

Match #2
Ken Jugan versus the Arkansas Terror #1 w/Dark Journey & Arkansas Terror #2.
Repeated interference and cheating by Dark Journey and her second charge has the referee award the match to Jugan by DQ.

With the match over, the two masked men attack Jugan, egged on by Dark Journey and booed by the fans. The boos quickly become cheers when out from the back comes ...

PLOWBOY FRAZIER!

Frazier runs them off, well, waddles them off is more like it before helping Jugan to the back.

Match # 3
The New Guinea Headhunter w/Tojo Yamamoto versus Dancing Wolf.
Continuation of the feud between the two teams that sees both men go back and forth with near pinfalls. Tojo with a kendo stick shot that misses Dancing Wolf catches the Headhunter allowing Wolf with a Flying Tomahawk Chop get the win.

Intermission.
Buddy Lee and Bert Prentice talk to Arkansas native Bill Ash who goes on a rant about having to wrestle in little podunks towns like Conway when he is an MSG Headliner. Places like this embarass him to admit to being from Arkansas. He picks on a family on the front row equating IQ to the number of teeth they have left which has the fans up in arms!

Match #4
Bill Ash versus Mountain Lou.
296 pounds of Mountain Lou frustrates Ash in the early going and the fans eat it up. Following a scoop slam that leads to a two count, Ash pops back to his feet complaining about his hair being pulled which draws the ire of the crowd.

After begging off, chants of "He's a sissy" ring out that has Ash arguing with the front row and covering his ears.

The big guy with the continued beat down until Ash with a thumb to the eye turns the tide. Running Mountain Lou's eyes across the ropes only gets the fans hooting and hollering more but the damage has been done in turning the tide. Bill Ash with the Arkansas Whiplash for the win.

Ash has to make a run for it with a barrage of cups and wadded up programs thrown his way.

Buddy Lee and Bert Prentice thank everyone for sharing their Sunday afternoon with them and that IPW will return to Conway!

I agree with AD, Cody Michaels finally gets a chance to shine in our game and he's making the most of it.

Dark Journey and the Terrors are causing a lot of trouble. Plowboy is looking to put a stop to it.

You've got a great headlining feud going on between Reno/Wolf and Tojo/Headhunter.

And finally, Bill Ash. LOL, this guy is already a heat magnet! MSG headliner, gotta love it. Great job.

IPW is coming on strong.

Greene County Fair Grounds
Paragould, Arkansas

A Thursday night of wrestling at the Greene County Fair Grounds Pavillion, bringing the best in wrestling action!

Hosts Buddy Lee and Bert Prentice welcome everyone to the show, promising exciting wrestling action! They are joined by Pat Rose who is happy to be here in Paragould, Arkansas ...

DJTERRORSsm.jpg

It is Dark Journey leading her Arkansas Terrors out. She welcomes Pat Rose to the territory and says that her Terrors are the "Test" and if he's up for the challenge to scoot on into the back and find anyone willing to take them on. She wishes him luck because he's going to need it finding someone in the back brave ... or stupid enough to take him up on it.

The trio leaves to a chorus to boos. Pat Rose is up for it. That's exactly why he's here! The challenge has been thrown out there ... consider it accepted!

Match #1
Brian Knighton versus Cody Michaels.
Another friendly match-up between the two youngsters that starts with a handshake. Energetic competition throughout that sees Cody Michaels win the match with a bulldog. They end things with a handshake. Michaels holds Knighton's hand in the air.

Match #2
Ken Jugan versus Tim Renesto.
The speedy Renesto turns it up a notch from the previous match and has Jugan, leaving the ring, calling for a time out and doing everything he can to slow the pace. Renesto isn't having it and puts Jugan down with a dropkick following a Monkey Flip.

Match # 3
New Guinea Headhunter w/Tojo Yamamoto versus Dancing Wolf
These two go at it again with Tojo sticking his nose into things as often as possible without getting Disqualified. The two go back and forth with Dancing Wolf breaking out the war dance which gets everyone going but before he can go to the flying tomahawk chop, Tojo with the kendo stick jabbed into Dancing Wolf's kidneys right in front of the referee gets the bell and the disqualification.

Dancing Wolf takes a boot stomping before the face locker room clears out the ring and attends to Dancing Wolf.

Intermission.

Match #4
The Arkansas Terrors w/Dark Journey versus Pat Rose and ?????
No clue who the grinning Rose's partner is until he motions to the back for him to come out.

Elmer-SMALL.jpg

OH YEAH! IT'S THE BIG GUY HIMSELF! PLOWBOY FRAZIER!

The four men brawl all over the ring before the ref regains control. No one wants to face Frazier but it is not like he is really needed all that much because Pat Rose is just that good. Rose and Frazier knock their opponents for a loop before whipping them both hard into the same corner.

Frazier splashes both men in the corner and they each hook a leg for a double pinfall and a win that leaves no doubt in anyone's mind.

Dark Journey berates her troops while the victorious celebrate with the fans.

Buddy Lee and Bert Prentice wish everyone a safe trip home after promising that IPW will return to Paragould!
