KawadaSmile Posted May 25, 2023 Report Posted May 25, 2023 The Four Pillars thing is not good, man. Just give us Darby vs MJF.
Blehschmidt Posted May 25, 2023 Report Posted May 25, 2023 Well, I certainly didn't have Sabu on my 2023 mainstream wrestling bingo card.
WingedEagle Posted May 25, 2023 Report Posted May 25, 2023 Anarchy in the Arena should be great and at the end of the day I'm sure Jericho/Cole and the main event will deliver in the ring. But this feels like one of AEW's weakest PPV's in years. The main event has had an awful build and somehow been a detriment to everyone involved. Zero interest in the tag titles, Wardlow/Christian and Jade/Taya matches. On the other hand, we've got Forbidden Door, All In, hopefully some G1 involvement and big summer ahead. Hopefully the title program gets a proper focus after this cycle.
Jmare007 Posted May 25, 2023 Report Posted May 25, 2023 Legit scared of Anarchy in the Arena taking two of three guys out for months. Those guys are gonna do some wild fucking shit on Sunday.
sek69 Posted May 25, 2023 Report Posted May 25, 2023 I popped for Buddy doing Rhea's reverse cloverleaf deal, and Brody King is such a beast.

I do think he should show up asap because they need *something* to sell that big ass arena and "first edition of Collision" is not gonna be it.
sek69 Posted May 25, 2023 Report Posted May 25, 2023 Loved seeing Lady Frost on TV, she was a staple of the indies around here.

Yeah announcing Chicago is them saying Punk is going to be there. My question is if Punk is going to come back as a heel. I would assume he's going to be super over in Chicago of course, but he was public enemy #1 of AEW fans after all the shit went down.
MLB Posted May 25, 2023 Report Posted May 25, 2023 Huge Sabu mark here. Kudos to TK for giving legends like Sabu and Gage their respect and a payday.

TheDuke Posted May 26, 2023 Report Posted May 26, 2023 For some reason when Cole announced that someone who lives right here in Las Vegas was going to come out I thought it would have been funny if Mike Tenay had come out.
Stiva Posted May 27, 2023 Report Posted May 27, 2023 Feel like Shida and Britt teaming up after their rivalry should have been a huge deal and maybe would have been a huge deal a year ago? Having it thrown on Rampage is pretty underwhelming. And Dynamite felt really WWE-esque this week. Right down to the contract signing and not to mention Hangman being shunted into one random backstage interview after the awesome closing segment last week. As much as I blow hot and cold on The Bucks and Omega, they should have been all over the show as the hot thing. AEW is appointment viewing for me but man, they are bouncing wildly from week to week right now. The Young Bucks helping the Lucha Bros after all they’ve went through should probably be focused on too, come to think of it
