April 22 - WWF Superstars of Wrestling LIVE w/ Vince McMahon & Jesse Ventura

 

We open up the Superstars of Wrestling Vince and Jesse ringside for this huge event. We’ve got a stacked card, a list of superstars a mile long… we’ve got titles on the line and so much in store… It is time to go to the ring!

 

NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH

Dusty Rhodes vs Big Bossman w/ Slick

Doesn’t get much bigger than this right now. These two just beat the living piss out of one another. We get a brawl that goes outside the ring. Rhodes rams into the stairs. Bossman goes ass over tea kettle on the guardrail taking out some fans. The One Man Gang is then shown walking down… what is he doing out here. Dusty is looking to go for broke on Bossman but Gang tries to get involved… Dusty ends up nailing him with a huge elbow and he falls to the floor… Dusty goes for a clothesline but Bossman ducks…. Rhodes hits the ropes and leaps for a crossbody but Bossman catches him and turns it into a Bossman Slam! OUT OF NOWHERE! 1….2….3!!!  The Bossman has won it and he’s the number one contender… this is nuts. Rhodes is hurt but then here comes the One Man Gang… 747 Splash on Rhodes! Dusty is in a bad way here. Wait a second… here come the Von Erich boys and the Towers retreat… does it matter though? Bossman wins the match… he’s next in line for a WWF title match… what will the champion think?

 

We’re back and here is a special Brother Love show. Brother Love is in the ring and he’s working the crowd until the Macho Man comes out to a huge ovation from the crowd. We see he and Brother Love go jab for jab… but then Brother Love asks what the deal with Elizabeth is? Macho Man says that every good man has a great woman in his corner and Ms. Elizabeth has been his guiding light. Wait a minute… what is this?

 

{Bobby Heenan walks out with Haku and Rick Rude…}

 

Heenan and his crew come in and shake hands with Savage. Macho Man acts chummy with them. Brother Love asks about the Bosssman to which Savage says he is happy he is the number one contender and he looks forward to coming to Saturday Night’s Main Event to show him what being a champion is…

 

Heenan: Hold it there Randy… now we know that you and on the take Tunney may have come together for this plan… Bossman and Dusty Rhodes… you get what’s left… but well…  that’s not the way I see it and it isn’t the way the Family sees it. Randy Savage when you came to the WWF… I gave you the seal of approval and I did everything to make sure you got that WWF Championship… yeah I got a couple of bucks and some nice dinners… but I haven’t received my piece of the deal yet…

 

Randy Savage: Your piece of the deal huh? What’s that?! I won this title on my own and I have defended it on my own…

 

Heenan: Calm down there Macho Man… it’s real simple… your time as champion has come to an end… 

 

Randy Savage: What are you talking about brother… you’re out of your mind?!?

 

Heenan: No… I am seeing things clearly… because my eyes are wide open… it is time for your Rude Awakening! 

 

Rude hammers Savage from behind! Haku and Rude are laying the boots to Savage and the crowd can’t believe it! Rude and Heenan hold him up for Haku to come with a Savat Kick right to the throat and Savage goes down hard… Rude picks him up and hits the RUDE AWAKENING! Officials and agents run down… wait a second… is that Elizabeth? She’s in the ring! She’s trying to stop this attack but Rude blows her a kiss! This is nuts! Heenan tells Savage to kiss the title goodbye! 

 

Jesse and Vince put over the huge happening with Macho Man and Rude and talk about how Savage has got challengers from every angle right now! They put over his title reign but say it is in jeopardy... they wonder if Spivey's addition to the Dangerous Alliance will solidify his reign!

 

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Koko B Ware vs The Great Muta w/ Paul E, Sherri, & Spivey

A great showcase for both men. Koko really knows how to fly around the ring and pull out some of the good stuff from Muta. This is a little different from their other matches though… Sherri and Spivey are out there and they make their presence known. We even see Spivey with a dart throw into the ring post. He tosses Koko in and then Muta waits and hits the Shining Wizard for the 3-count! The Dangerous Alliance is in full effect right now…

 

Jesse and Vince really pump up Muta and the Dangerous Alliance... Jesse says there's rumors of another member joining... someone who will shock the world of wrestling. Vince questions but gets nowhere. We then hear about the US tag titles and pump up this big title match!

 

US Tag Team Championship
The Rockers vs Earthquake & Dino Bravo w/ Jimmy Hart

We see the Rockers come out to a great ovation from the crowd. They definitely have all the love here as Dino and Earthquake are getting some major heat. We see Michaels and Jannetty have to double team every chance they get here to knock Earthquake back. Dino is able to play middle man and take a lot of the blows while Quake looks like a monster. We then see Dino and Quake take over… and it doesn’t look pretty. Michaels gets SQUASHED by Quake and thrown out. Dino catches Jannetty who goes for a high cross body but then powerslams him… wait  Jannetty goes over his back and pushes Dino into Earthquake. Marty gets Shawn up and then they run for a couple dropkicks and nail the Quake who goes out of the ring to the floor! They run at Dino and duck a clothesline and then come back with a pair of back elbows…. Dino is woozy and here’s the double superkick for the 3-count! The Rockers retain… They are the US tag Champions and Dino and Quake need to regroup! 

 

What a win for the Rockers. We hear they may be going on tour with the US tag titles... whatever that means. We pump up the big six-man... Andre and his crew are ready for battle!

 

SIX-MAN TAG

Andre the Giant, Tito Santana, & Jimmy Snuka vs Kamala & The Powers of Pain w/ Mr. Fuji

The crowd is still stirring from the previous contest so when they see Andre come out with Tito and Snuka we’ve got a lot of cheers but definitely not where it could be. The monster crew that Fuji has put together is something to behold. This isn’t a good match but there is entertainment. The crowd is just waiting for Andre to come in and when he does they go bananas. Snuka and Tito play folly for the Powers of Pain and then Kamala and Andre get into a pretty intense battle. The finish sees Andre with a powerslam on Warlord and then covers him for the 3-count. Andre and his crew celebrate… a feel good moment for the end of a very special night. See you next week!

Big Bossman vs Randy Savage is going to be quite a match.

Really love all the twists and turns in this one.  With your roster being so great, you have a lot of choices but it takes someone with a lot of creativity and sill to make it all flow with such excitement.  Great work.

Looks like playing the tweener is over for Savage, thanks to the attack by the Heenan family. Savage has got a lot on his plate right now. 

I think the Dangerous Alliance might past the Heenan family as the top heel faction. Time will tell. 

Huge title defense for the Rockers. Yea, these guys are definitely over with the fans. 

At this point, it's always nice to see Andre with another feel good moment.

Prime Time opens this week with Gorilla and Bobby putting over last week’s Superstars Live. They talk about the Dangerous Alliance and how we will see them in action tonight. They talk about Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday, May the 25th, on that night we will see Randy Savage take on Big Bossman and defend the World Title… Heenan chimes in to say that is if he’s the champion. Gorilla and Bobby go to task on the Family taking out Savage last week. Bobby says it was the first message of what could be a few or many… plain and simple… Savage gives up the title to Rude or else he will suffer the consequences! Gorilla can’t believe it… we’ve got a big night of action - let’s head to the ring!

Haha… it is time ticking away boi… I told you at WrestleMania I was coming for the title… I told you I am coming for blood… Savage… you better know that truth and justice will prevail… Saturday Night’s Main Event… millions of people watching the Big Bossman walk down that aisle and serve you with the justice you deserve. You’ve been tried and found guilty… you’ve got your date with the executioner! 

 

Randy Savage: Ohhh yeaahhhh…. I got guys coming from the left and from the right… from the top and from the bottom… yeah… but when you’re the champion… thus is life… Dig it! Now Bossman… you are number one on the pecking order and brother know that the Macho Man doesn’t take that order lightly. Bossman - you say you’re the executioner huh… well look at me as the one who holds the gavel… I am the judge and this title gives me the power…  Bossman… you are going to find out what real law and order is all about… DIG IT!

Rick Rude: You got Dusty Rhodes… the Big Bossman… and Randy Savage all coming out here and saying a whole bunch of nothing. Let me be the one to set the record straight… Saturday Night’s Main Event is going to be the first title defense of Ravishing Rick Rude. I am coming for you Savage in every single town every single night. I am going to get my hands on you and not only take the title but take you out of this sport… then… haha… I am going to give that old lady of yours the Rude Awakening of a lifetime!

 

Gene then puts over the US tag Team Champions the Rockers who announce that they will be going on a special United States tour and defending the titles against all comers. Look for them at an Arena near you. Gene also announces that a former WWF champion is set to return to the WWF and he has got some big plans. Also at Saturday Night’s Main Event, we will see Andre the Giant taking on the Mighty Kamala and Mr. Fuji has said he will have a big surprise for Andre! Also we will see the tag team champions, Demolition in a special match up against Haku and a mystery partner. Bobby Heenan says he has a new family member… and a special six-man tag team encounter… Brutus Beefcake, the British Bulldog, & Koko Ware take on the Hart Foundation and I am sure we will see the Earthquake at ringside with them.

Jesse and Vince put over a big night of action and talk about Superstars being the Premiere Show when it comes to Professional Wrestling. Vince says there is talk of taking it Live each and every week… Jesse says he lives for live tv… let’s go to the ring.

 

Hercules and Paul Roma (now with the shirts that say Power and Glory) work babyface and defeat the Russians in a solid tag team match

Tugboat Thomas vs Dino Bravo - a fun little main event with Dino looking like a monster but Tugboat giving him all he’s got. We see Earthquake and Jimmy Hart out there… then Tugboat goes for broke with a huge avalanche in the corner but Dino moves…and Tugbboat nails the corner and the ring moves…Dino catches Tugboat and gutwrench suplex! 1….2….3!!! Earthquake jumps into the ring and he starts to kick away at Tugboat… wait a second… EARTHQUAKE SPLASH! Tugboat is in a rough way… hold on here comes Davey Boy Smith and Dino and Quake back out… Jimmy Hart is pushing this big… Davey Boy wants his shot at Dino at any cost… but perhaps it cost Tugboat his career! 

 

We go to the set of Brother Love and we see Randy Savage come out and get right in Brother Love’s face about what happened a couple of weeks ago. Brother Love says he was just doing what Brother Heenan wanted. Randy Savage is livid though and he’s right there to tell Brother Love he’s going to put an end to this whole show if he doesn’t get some answers… then… well then out of the back walks Terry Funk! We hear some hmms and haas in the crowd as Funk comes over and attempts to shake Savage’s hand… which he does with hesitation. Funk says that he’s here tonight as a guest and wanted to come out and meet Randy Savage face to face and congratulate him on being one of the best WWF Champions of all time! Terry goes on to talk about his past with championships and being the WORLD heavyweight champion and defending it against all comers and he hopes that Savage will continue to be the same kind of champion. Savage nods and agrees but when he tries to speak, Funk interrupts and talks about how his fame grew when he was the champion and it grew to such heights that Hollywood came knocking at his door. He talks about his new movie, Road House that comes out in a couple of weeks and how he whips Patrick Swyaze into shape for fun. Savage lets him know that this… wait he’s interrupted again… Funk goes on to say that between the press tour and all the signings and such… he does’t know if he could even handle the schedule of the WWF Champion… but he’d like to try. He smiles at Savage that says this isn’t Hollywood and this isn’t a part you can audition for. This is the toughest sport in the world and you’ve got to prove you’re the best to step in the ring for the title. Funk is a great competitor but not exactly in the rankings or runnings for a title shot. Funk says he was just playing with Savage. He can’t wait for his title defense against the Bossman… he will be cheering for him!

 

Event Center with Mean Gene - he puts over the big SNME. We will see Randy Savage defend the WWF Championship against the Big Bossman, Andre the Giant takes on the Mighty Kamala, Demolition defend the WWF Tag Team Championships against Haku & A Mystery Partner, plus a huge six-man tag team match with Brutus Beefcake, the Bulldog, & Koko Ware taking on The Hart Foundation. Also just signed, an Intercontinental Championship match, the Great Muta is set to defend against Hacksaw Jim Duggan! We hear from some of the competitors…

 

Randy Savage: OHHHH YEAAAAHHHH! WWF Champion, Macho Man Randy Savage here and wow… Big Bossman… baddest dude on the block with the biggest mouth and the biggest head yeah. Well come SNME I am gonna shut that mouth and pop that big ol balloon head of yours! This elbow has been bred for destruction yeah… like the judge’s gavel… it is going to fall and JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED!

 

Big Bossman: Randy Savage… you good for nothing punk. You hide behind that title and that woman like it means something but come SNME it won’t mean a thing. I am coming for that WWF Title… it will be the final piece to show the world that I am the Law, the Order, and the Justice of the WWF!

 

Mr. Fuji w/ Kamala: Andre the Giant… biggest man in wrestling no more… my mighty Kamala is going to bring you down to size!

May 13 - WWF Prime Time Wrestling w/ Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan

 

Opening: Gorilla and Bobby welcome us to the set as they put over a big night of WWF Action as we prepare to go to Saturday Night’s Main Event in a couple of weeks. They really pump up the return of Terry Funk last week. Heenan is just laughing it off saying that someone else has got into Savage’s mind and it is only going to help Rude. Gorilla and Bobby go back and forth on whether Rude will even get a chance and talk about how the Bossman is next in line and is perhaps the man to beat in that match!

 

The Matches:

Rick Rude defeated Hank Green and kept making the title signal around his waist. He kept calling out Savage!

 

The Night Stalker debuted against Tommy Shaw - Stalker finished him off with a Heart Punch!

 

Demolition defeated Bobby Wright & Tom Evan - we heard from Heenan who says he has put a team together to destroy Demolition once and for all!

 

Dan Spivey w/ Paul E killed Shawn Vincent with a powerbomb and then he throw him out of the ring and did the stretcher gig sending him to the back!

 

Bushwhackers had some fun with the Super Shadows and double headbutted them and then licked a bunch of fans in the crowd.

 

Samoan Swat Team came out and looked fantastic but vicious in a good encounter against Bobby Wyld & Ronnie Franz. Fatu came off the top rope with a headbutt that looked to legit knock Wyld out.

 

The Mighty Kamala w/ Mr. Fuji defeated Ryne Phillips via count out. Kamala finished things off by hoisting Phillips up and dropping him throat first on the guardrail!

 

The Steiner Brothers vs the Russians - Another fun showcase for the Steiners who look like they’re ready to take the next step here in the WWF… could Demolition be on their radar?

 

Event Center:

 

Mean Gene is pumping up the Event Center. He runs down the SNME card and we will see the WWF Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and the WWF Tag Team Championships will all be on the line. We’ll also see a special encounter with Mr. Fuji’s mighty Kamala taking on the 8th wonder of the world, Andre the Giant. We’ll also see a special six-man tag when the Hart Foundation take on Brutus Beefcake, The British Bulldog, and Koko B Ware! Mean Gene puts over the return of Terry Funk and the promotion of the big film, Road House coming out next week. Mean Gene puts over Terry Funk and this… apology?

 

Funk: Apology - Randy Savage I came out here tonight to apologize. You know when you have the legacy I have in this sport… sometimes I let my mouth run a little. Needless to say, I am riding high right now with my hit movie coming out next week… I guess I just got caught up in the moment. Trust me when I say this, Randy Savage I respect you and the integrity of the WWF Championship… that’s why I am coming to Saturday Night’s Main Event and I am going to be ringside to make sure that the Bossman doesn’t bring any tricky business with him. I know that Slick can be slick but he won’t be able to get past this bouncer!

 

Randy Savage: Ohhhh yeaaaahhhh. Big Bossman, I got time on my side right now but you don’t. I am the wolf at the top of the mountain but I am hungry…. Hungrier now than I have ever been. Saturday Night’s Main Event is the place and I am coming with an empty stomach full of hunger. This title says I am the best there is… come and take it. Rick Rude… COME AND TAKE IT! Terry Funk… you want to apologize… know your place… at Saturday Night’s Main Event it isn’t in the ring with me… it is at ringside as a spectator. Once you get done in Hollywood, you can come back and we can talk about it but get back on the road and rub elbows with Patrick Swayze because YOU DON’T WANT THIS ELBOW DIG IT!

 

Demolition put over their big tag match with the Heenan Family… they don’t care who the partner is… they’re going to DEMOLISH THEM!

 

Heenan and Haku put over the tag titles and Heenan says that everything is secure… the special partner is someone who may not shock the world but will shock Demolition and bring the WWF Tag Titles home to the Heenan Family!

 

Hacksaw Duggan put over getting the IC title match and says that he bleeds red, white, and blue and he will show Muta that he has just enough room for some gold… TOUGH GUY!

 

Paul E is with Muta and he puts over the big IC title match… he says Duggan couldn’t spell IQ let alone have one. Muta is the superior athlete, wrestler, and man… and he’s going to show that to Duggan at Saturday Night’s Main Event!

Kamala may be Fuji's best shot against Andre.

Opening: Jesse and Vince pump up a big night of WWF Superstars and put over Brother Love hosting… the Big Bossman! We’ll also have a very special event center in which we’ll hear from Terry Funk and Randy Savage… plus tonight we have a special main event featuring Rick Rude taking on Brutus Beefcake. Right now it is time to get to the ring for all the best in the WWF!

 

Matches:

Jimmy Snuka defeated Erick Montgomery - Good showcase for Snuka who is finding himself in the waters of the WWF

 

Mighty Kamala w/ Fuji defeated Xavier French & Phillip Norris - fun handicap match where Kamala beats the shit out of both of these guys. Andre on the inset interview - says something… but he is ready to beat Kamala

 

The Samoan Swat Team defeated Dan Ryan & Tommy Upshaw - Vicious and Violent is the only way to describe Samu and Fatu… they look Dangerous!

 

Mike Rotundo defeated Mitchell Smith - Rotundo is still wearing the Varsity Club get up… not quite sure if he’s heel or face… he doesn’t know either… a nice fisherman’s suplex finishes things off. 

 

Hacksaw Jim Diuggan defeated George Hawkins - Hacksaw looks good… Paul E chimes in to let us know that he’s going to get destroyed this weekend… we’ll see!

 

The Steiner Brothers defeated Ryne Shepard & Troy Vincent - Rick and Scott take no prisoners and leave no stone unturned in beating the shit out of these guys.

 

The Night Stalker defeated Mark Riggles - Stalker is big, strong, and nasty. He hits a chokeslam for the finish.

 

MAIN EVENT

Ravishing Rick Rude defeated Brutus Beefcake in a fun 12-minute contest. Haku showed up out of nowhere to help Rude. Rude and Haku were working Brutus over until Demolition came out and ran them off. Ax and Smash look at Rude and Haku want to have at it right now… Rude, Heenan, and Haku back off but work the crowd on the way out. 

 

Brother Love:

We’ve got a special Brother Love tonight with Slick bringing out the Twin Towers and he tells everyone that the Big Bossman is set and ready to become the NEW WWF Champion!  The One Man Gang is whooping around out there and Bossman gets on the stick to tell everyone that the Macho Man Randy Savage is going serve HARD TIME on Saturday Night’s Main Event! Bossman is going to have the Night Stick, the Handcuffs, and the Ball-N-Chain ready to go and if Elizabeth sticks her nose in the Bossman’s business - she is going to get what’s coming to her too! Bossman says that he is going to show Savage why he is the better man and he will be the better champion! Brother Love finishes us off by putting over SNME and says he will LOVE seeing the Big Bossman as the WWF CHAMPION!

 

Event Center:

 

Mean Gene brings us in to put over the big SNME this weekend. We know that Savage and Bossman will go one onone for the WWF Championship… plus we’ll see Great Muta defending the IC title against Hacksaw Duggan…. Plus Demolition will be in action against Haku and a mystery partner. We also find out that Road House released to an amazing opening weekend. Terry Funk with some words on the movie and SNME!

Listen if you haven’t gone out to see Road House yet… get out there and see me work Patrick Swayze over like the punk he is in the movie. Hahah. It’s a fun filled film with a lot of action and some of the best acting from yours truley. Secondly, I apologized last week to Randy Savage… Savage as the WWF Champion I know you have so much on your plate. Just to help you out… I plan on being there, ringside this weekend,  I can’t wait to see the WWF Champion defend his title and show the world who the best is!

Big Bossman: Tonight is the night Savage! Tonight you face the consequences of your actions… justice will be served tonight and you will be serving HARD TIME!

Andre the Giant: I love getting in the ring and squashing all the little bugs like you Fuji and you Kamala!

Mr. Fuji: Ahh… Andre the Giant… the biggest man in the world… tonight you meet your biggest threat… my mighty Kamala… but that is not all I have in store for you Andre… just wait and see!

Hacksaw Jim Duggan: HOOOOOO! Tonight, for all you fans out there right here in the good ol US of A… I am going to take on that painted up fanatic, the Great Muta and I am going to bring that WWF Intercontinental Championship right back here to the USA!

Paul E Dangerously: Ohhh Hacksaw Jim Duggan… about as smart as that 2x4 you carry around… tonight you will see the Great Muta in the middle of that ring… and what happens next will be a masterpiece to all of us and a blur to you. Muta is going to show you why he is the pearl of the Orient and the greatest pro wrestler in the world today!

Randy Savage: Ohhhh yeaaahhhhh! Tonight, Big Bossman, you are the one who is going to be serving Hard Time because the Macho Man isn’t here to play brother yeah! I am coming like a wolf who hasn’t eaten in a week. I am hungry and you’re exactly what I am lookin for… tonight I am going to get more than you can offer and I am going to show you why I am the WWF CHAMPION! DIG IT!

Jesse and Vince are live and they are pumping up a HUGE edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event! They put over all the action and the three title matches! We’ll also see Andre the Giant in action plus… a big six-man match… it is time to head to the ring… folks this is gonne be fun!

Brutus Beefcake, Koko Ware, & British Bulldog vs Hart Foundation w/ Earthquake & Jimmy Hart

A fun six-man to open things up. Brutus, Koko, & Bulldog have got some good momentum going and the Hart Foundation gets some really nice heat. The major showcase is Bravo vs Bulldog and they are showing just who is the strongest man in the WWF. Bulldog more than holds his own. Koko and Honky have a dance off and the crowd lets Honky know he isn’t up to par. Beefcake and Valentine are able to put the finishing touches on things. We see a couple of big spots including a huge dropkick from Koko on Valentine but he falls into the Bulldog who picks him up and POWERSLAM! 1….2…3!! The Hart Foundation has to regroup… Earthquake then comes over and he looks like he’s trying to get involved. They are holding him back while Brutus, Koko, and Bulldog welcome him in the ring!

Here’s Jesse standing by with the Bossman. He tells Slick and Gang that they don’t need to come out there tonight… this is the Bossman’s fight and he’s going to show Savage who the executioner really is! Slick looks perplexed as he and the Gang wait behind and Bossman heads to the ring!

We hear from Mean Gene who is with Randy Savage and the Lovely Elizabeth. Gene points out that the Bossman is going it alone tonight and Savage says that he doesn’t trust the Bossman nor his word on staying out there by himself! He tells Elizabeth to stay behind and he’s going to go out there and do this man to man! YEAH!

WWF CHAMPIONSHIP
Randy Savage vs Big Bossman w/ Slick

Big Time contest with the WWF Championship on the line and the crowd is going wild for the Macho Man! We see Terry Funk who is ringside and he tries to shake Savage’s hand but nothing doing. Funk wishes him good luck.  Bossman and Savage then go into a really great 13-minute match. Bossman with some serious heat and he is beating down Savage somehting awful. Macho makes a couple attempts to get back but it isn’t working out too well. We see Slick come down. Bossman tosses Savage out of the ring to the floor. He tells Slick to go to the back! What in the world is going on here? We’re back from break and Slick is gone but Elizabeth is out there and she is cheering on Savage who looks to be in a very tough spot. Elizabeth is getting the crowd going and now Savage is fighting back. Savage really lights up the crowd with a hangman over the top rope and now Bossman is trying to recoup. Savage goes up top… Bossman gets up and he gets NAILED with a double ax handle smash! Here comes Slick now and he’s got the Gang with him… Savage points at them and tells them to get out of here! Bossman goes back on the attack. Bossman goes clothesline Savage but he ducks and Bossman goes out of the ring to the floor. Savage goes up and Double Ax handle again and Savage takes out the Bossman, Gang, and Slick! Savage goes back in the ring. Bossman is screaming at Slick to leave!  Bossman comes in the ring and Savage with a back elbow smash! Bossman comes at Savage who ducks, kicks him in the gut, and BODYSLAM! Savage is going up top… Gang is going over to get him but Terry Funk jumps over the rail and he pulls down the One Man Gang and gets him a huge shot! Funk chases Gang and Slick off… Savage off the top rope with an ELBOW DROP! 1….2….3!!!! Savage retains the title!

Elizabeth and Savage are in the ring celebrating… Terry Funk comes in and he goes to shake Savage’s hand… which he does and Funk gives him the floor to celebrate.

Intercontinental Title - Muta w/ Paul E vs Hacksaw Duggan

A solid contest for Muta and Hacksaw. Duggan works the strength while Muta works the technical skills and uses his ariel tactics to get control. Duggan is able to get control of the match but he really starts to get pissy with Dangerously outside the ring. Duggan threats him but then turns around and Muta with a GREEN MYST! The referee is over on the other side of the ring with Sherri… oh my… Muta with a running spinning heel kick! Duggan goes out of the ring to the floor! The referee turns to count… he gets to 10 and we’ve got a winner in the great Muta! Muta, Sherri, and Paul E celebrate… Duggan wipes the myst from his eyes and he gets up to get the 2x4 and comes back in the ring but they all retreat… this one seems far from over! 

We see Jesse in the back with Heenan and Haku and Heenan is not doing too well.  He’s pacing back and forth and says that the plane hasn’t landed yet… he needs more time… Haku says he is going to fight them on how own!  Jesse puts it over and wonders what happens as we cut out to the ring and Demolition are coming down the aisle. 

WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Demolition vs Haku & Mystery Partner  w/ Heenan

We go to the ring and Demolition are standing by with the tag titles ready to go… Haku and Heenan come down and they put over that the plane hasn’t landed yet! Heenan says that the match is going to be postponed… Haku talks to Heenan and wants to take them on right now… Bobby says no way… Demolition are ready for a fight… then out of nowhere… Samu and Fatu show up and they are beating the living hell out of Demolition. Haku comes over and he adds into it! Heenan is laughing and smiling!  These three set this all up… and Heenan played Demolition like a fiddle. 

 

 

We get a final interview segment with Mean Gene talking to Mr. Fuji and Kamala. They put over the big showdown with Andre… this is going to be a historic event and Fuji says Kamala will start what his big surprise is going to finish!

 

We head over to Jesse who is standing next to Andre… Jesse keeps asking questions but then he pulls the mic away before Andre says anything… Then Andre has enough… he grabs Jesse’s arm… “Listen to me… I don’t care who he has… tonight I will show why I am the Giant… KAMALA… your time has come!” 

Andre the Giant vs Kamala w/ Mr. Fuji
Here is one we’ve been waiting for. It isn’t the most glamorous match… nor scientific… well… honestly it isn’t that good. Andre is in rough shape but can still mosey around the ring. Kamala with a lot of chops and strikes… he even goves for a big splash on Andre who kicks out at 2. The rest of the match sees Andre slowly build up to his feet, weathering Kamala’s strikes but then Andre with a huge headbutt! He takes Kamala into the corner and nails a couple of big ass splashes!  Kamala is staggering out of the corner and Andre grabs him for a big double armed suplex! 1….2….3! Andre has won it… The crowd gives him some love but there is a stir…

Andre is getting to his feet and when he does he looks down the aisleway… what in the hell is that!?! Fuji is walking down and bringing this humungous monster with him! This guy looks like he’s 8 feet tall! Fuji is telling him to get in the ring and Andre is welcoming him! Here come the Powers of Pain… they are holding this big guy back. Jesse and Vince are just going nuts on this… who is this monster?!?!

May 27 - WWF Prime Time Wrestling w/ Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan

 

Gorilla and Bobby put over the Nassau Coliseum event this weekend when Randy Macho Man Savage defends the WWF Championship against Ravishing Rick Rude. Terry Funk is said to be the special guest enforcer to keep the Heenan Family at bay in what is being labeled a Roadhouse Rules match! Gorilla says that Funk is going to keep Heenan’s cronies at bay… we’ll also see Demolition taking on the Heenan’s new guys… the Samoan Swat Team. Plus, Great Muta defends the Intercontinental Championship against Jim Duggan! We also hear from Gorilla and Bobby about the debut of… of… well… we’ll see him on Brother Love with Mr. Fuji!

 

The Samoan Swat Team w/ Bobby Heenan defeated Mark Montgomery & Phil Fredericks

Dan Spivey & Mean Mark (making his debut) defeated a couple of job de bobs… Paul E introduced Mean Mark to the crowd and he looks like a monster. Paul E then was heard saying that they were the Skyscrapers… more on this to come. 

 

Tito Santana defeated Tony Montania 

 

The Rougeau Brothers return to the WWF with a big win over Mark Constantine and Rick Powers! We hear the Rougeaus putting over the US tag titles and keep asking where the Rockers are!?!?

 

Special Brother Love show and out comes Mr. Fuji along with the Powers of Pain. Fuji and Blubber Love put over what happened at SNME… Fuji says he has reassembled his army and now he will introduce the world to… THE GIANT GONZALEZ! 7’8” tall…. 425 pounds… the biggest athlete in all of professional wrestling and now he has eyes for one man… Andre the Giant. They will battle… oh yes… they will battle and only one giant will be left standing. Fuji tells Andre to take notice and be ready… his world is about to come crashing down!

 

Event Center - We hear from Mean Gene who puts over the big Nassau Coliseum card. He puts over the debut of The Giant Gonzalez!  He is Mr. Fuji’s new monster who may be bigger than Andre the Giant and has a clear vision on his destruction! We hear about the Great Muta taking on Jim Duggan and Duggan says he’s going to have the 2x4 ready and he has some special samoan wood that will crack their skulls! We hear from Demolition who say they can’t wait to get their hands on the Samoans… and then Haku… and then Heenan! We hear from Gene Okerlund that Rick Martel is on a special assignment from the WWF to go to Europe and compete in a special tournament with competitors from all over the world. Martel plans to represent the WWF and Canada in the event. We’ll hear from Martel next week about how the tournament is going… this event is called the War of the World’s Million Dollar Challenge!

Muta escapes with the title but Duggan isn't done yet. Paul E keeps things going by bringing in a towering partner for Spivey.

Heenan has found a new pair of savages.

Andre puts down Kamala but Fuji came prepared by bringing Giant Gonzalez.

A fun 6 man tag is always a great way to open a show. 

A lot goes down in the world title bout. Funk lives up to his word and we might see an eventual Bossman face turn. 

Muta works wonders with that mist. 

A Demolition/SST feud...bring it on!!! 

Could Andre be passing the "Giant" torch to Gonzalez? 

Looking forward to seeing what the Skyscrapers do here. 

Martel is a great choice to represent the WWF in a worldwide tournament. 

I'm still wondering about Funk. He's the right guy for this kind of storyline. You just never know with him.

Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan vs Randy Savage © w/ Elizabeth

These two put it all on the line for the crowd and by golly they eat it up. We see Rude working the crowd and Savage placating the fans… Funk is playing his role at ringside and he tries to do some enforcing when he moves Heenan to another corner and escorts Elizabeth after Rude makes some comments towards her. The match goes a solid 28-minutes and the crowd goes in and out and really cheers Savage on. We get Haku and the Samoans down here… wait just a damn minute… Funk is able to chase them off but they continue to come to the ring until Demolition come out and the fans go apeshit… in all the commotion… Demolition chase Haku and the Samoans to the back… the referee is down… Rude gets rocked from a double axe handle smash! Savage goes up top… here we go… WHAT THE HELL! Funk runs over and shoves the branding iron in Savage’s ribs and he goes flying off the top rope into the apron! Savage lands with his throat on the guardrail. Funk comes over and lays in the boots… then he tosses him in the ring…. Rick Rude gets up and grabs Savage… RUDE AWAKENING! The referee rolls over… 1…..2….3! RUDE HAS DONE IT! RUDE HAS DONE IT! Heenan grabs the title and hands it to Rude… he poses with the belt…. HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE! Security comes out… Patterson… Brisco… even Vince comes over as Jesse puts this through the roof… Funk is trying to mame Savage. Liz is almost in between them… this is pure chaos…
