Dale Wolfe Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Shithouse new day is a good little career move for them Quote
El-P Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Hey, Jade Cargill of AEW fame. 70 minutes and counting. One awful match. One *decent* one. WWE really knows how to put on a show. Quote
El-P Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Well, that's the most *plain* entrance I've ever seen Jade Cargill do. Quote
El-P Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Wow, so much progress with proper training... She's like, a different person now. Totally major league. Quote
NintendoLogic Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Is it just me or is this crowd totally dead? It seems like they're hardly reacting to anything. Quote

strobogo Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 I hope whatever agent put this match together is not allowed to put matches together for a long time because this is the exact opposite of what the storyline and previous interactions called for. Quote
El-P Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 I mean, if I paid 800$ to see that average wrestling drawn into a never-ending sea of advertisement, I'd be dead too. Jade Cargill is EXACTLY the same she was 3 years ago. Quote

Timbo Slice Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 These matches wouldn’t even be main events on weekly TV at this point. Quote
El-P Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Good for me I'm actually listening to a cool DJ set at the same time, hoping to get sleepy soon. Hey, I recognize that guy ! Eli Drake of TNA fame ! Quote

El-P Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 So to get over in WWE, you gotta repeat Yeet or Yeah a lot. Awesome that pro-wrestling has moved forward to reach that point of creative brillance. WWE audience being appreciative of this kind of amazingly deep content should be commended. Quote
El-P Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Hey ! Jacob Fatu of MLW fame ! You know that Hammerstone is back with MLW ? He absolutely is after a failed TNA stint. Quote
NintendoLogic Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 If Jacob Fatu can't wake this crowd up, this show is beyond hope. Quote
strobogo Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Honestly the ads shit is so insane to me. Paul Veerhoven couldn't make a satire this absurd. What in the fuck. They literally go from the end of the match in to 3 commercials to come back to 3 ad reads from announcers to a whole ad break because video packages are pay walled. And then do more ad reads during entrances. Quote
El-P Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Seriously, all jokes aside and all political content aside, as a *pro-wrestling show*, this is just awful, I'm sorry. Quote
El-P Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 And for the record, I don't even hear the announcing, which I have no doubt make it even worse. Quote
C.S. Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Just now, El-P said: And for the record, I don't even hear the announcing, which I have no doubt make it even worse. How did you turn off the announcing? Quote
El-P Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 7 minutes ago, C.S. said: How did you turn off the announcing? Watching with the sound off... ya know (plus there are two russians guys talking over it anyway) When I was watching MLW years ago, I always thought Jacob Fatu was ridiculously overrated. But MLW has always been the worse place to gauge talent. Yes, this match is the best thus far, but LA Knight is just as good as Fatu. Yeah, he's *good*, really good even. He's nowhere near what he's pimped to be. Never has, still isn't. Quote
